750 mL bottle. The poor is a very dark ruby almost light brown, with a medium light tan had and some decent lacing as it fades down. The aroma has a strong sugary sweetness to it. There is a good mall presence, but not a whole lot else going on. The sugar almost smells like a brown sugar. It carries a little bit of that molasses type of aroma. The flavor is a little sweet, and then carries on a bit of a metallic-y malt flavor. There is a light sugar, but it's much more malty and equally quick on the flavor. The mouth feel is thin and slick, with not a whole lot of carbonation to help it out, so it's light-bodied. The aftertaste is lingeringly sweet and metallic ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown pour. Appears like a porter. Malty and biscuity flavours with low hops. Coffee and chocolate from the dark malt appears balanced with lighter malt flavours. A solid beer

Shared 750 to shaker. Clean dark reddish brown. Nice and malty. Similar to an American oktoberfest to me.

This is the best Stock ale ive ever had!!! Whatever that means because I dont think Ive ever had one before. Tastes like beer. Not really sure what else to say besides light malts and sweetness with little to no hops. At least the person that bought this to trade it to us spent money that went to a charity.

Bottle shared by Drew. Thanks! Pours a deep brown with reddish hints and a tan head. Nose is big bourbon and char. Some caramel and toast as well. Minimal hop aromatics, dominated by the char. On tasting, clean, touch of booze. Caramel and toast. Pretty solid as far as stock ales go. Should probably be reclassed as an old ale. Balanced.

Bottle. The pour is a bright reddish brown. The aroma is all malt and toffee. The drink is more toffee, light booze. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle:   Darker brown, moderate frothy beige like head, fairly nice lacing.   Malty/biscuity nose, somewhat sweet, little hop to be seen.   Faint cocoa as well.   Malty tongue, definite biscuit, little hop presense, soft cocoa or chocolate notes.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   A bit more hop on the finish.   Malty, soft chocolate malts, like a very nice Brown Ale.   Clean, enjoyable, and tasty.
