Nose is like candy oranges, slight pine. Body is light and smooth, taste oranges again lots of floral flavors, very refreshing. Almost like that orange colored cough medicine. Grapefruit, very nice crisp clean and a certain mineral sweetness to it.

Draft on tap at the brewery (Grand Rapids, MI). Pours a nice deep amber orange hue, gentle haziness, some darkness and sunset honeycomb glow. A mellow carbonation, decent offwhite head atop dies to a solid filmy layer, laces ok and sticks around. Aromas show gentle sweetness, fruit and florals. A bit of lemon, orange, and mellow bready and caramel sweetness. Some more floral, touch of melon, and earthy hop presence. A touch sweeter. Initial is medium bodied, a firmness to it with florals, a bit of bread, some gentle lemon and earthy hops. A touch green, leafy. Some decent bitterness hits up front. Middle is a touch sweeter, bready and doughy, some gentle florals as those earthy hops start to turn a corner. A bit spicy, firm earthy element. Gentle, the 7.9 ABV is hidden well. A gentle spiciness, florals, and earth into the backend. The hop and bitterness element is restrained, the earthy spice hits into the backend. A firm body, gentle fruit, but nothing that is dominant or outspoken. Mellow, not sweet but a firm body as its backdrop. Ok, but forgettable.
