Pours a cloudy orange. Medium head that is stable. Smells floral with a grainy edge. Taste of pine and grapefruit. Bitterness is sharp and lingers. Has a sweet taste but finishes dry.

Bottle; nose is full of floral aromas. Juicy/fruity explosion of flavor. Great hop utilization. Might be the best IPA I've had!!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap: Vibrant, golden-yellow color with decent clarity, only a mild chill haze throughout. A small, white head stretches to a film & collar atop the brew. Aroma is hoppy as hell; very pure, pungent, dripping wet. Floral, weedy, like fresh cut grass with the dew still on it. Some citric peel notes in the back. Very "green" & fresh. Taste is the exact same way, delivering a lovely level of freshness that is noticeable with each sip. Wet, grassy, floral, weedy hops... Like sicking on a wet hop. A hint of white pepper & orange peel in the periphery, but this one is all about raw hop flavor. Lightly sticky, crispy finish. A very good IPA from Founders, showcasing hops in one of their purest forms.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle from a friend up in wisconsin- you are not on the site, but thanks to Jarrod for this. Hazed light orange body with- just as the description says up above- a puffy white two finger head. could smell the hop aroma as i was pouring this. pine and citrus are what i pick up. milder hop flavor than anticipated from the nose. honey malt with a watermelon taste. orange citrus hop notes dominate the bitterness. enjoyable now, bet was stellar 2 months ago. will definitely reach out for more of this come the fall so i can enjoy this fresh the way it is intended.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
The best made wet hop ale out there. A hop head’s dream, this beer is exactly what an IPA should be. Piney and grapefruity, chewy resiny hops without it being annoying or too over the top. Delicious.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
From 10/8/2013. Pours a hazy copper with a finger of off white head that lingers into a thin cap. Decent amount of lacing and carbonation. Nose is very resinous and hoppy with a slight amount of sweet citrus. The mouth is very similar. A lot of citrus and piney hops with a decent amount of malt. Some bitterness that leaves a dry, but pleasant finish.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
On tap served in a pint glass.
Pours a clear, brilliant gold with with awesome head retention and lacing.
Aroma is very piny and earthy with just a touch of citrus coming through.
Lots of Earthiness in the taste with bread and light pine. Bitterness is on the high side leading to a crisp and drying finish.
Overall, really an awesome beer that brilliantly showcases what a hop harvest beer should be. One beer I really wish was available to me locally.
