COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This liquid dream pours a hazy golden orange straw color with a large puffy white two-finger head. First sip of this beer rewards with a super juicy hop presence bursting with fresh orange and lemon citrus then continues to introduce toasted malt undertones.

Bottled: something, something, 11. Founder’s has shitty dating now that they’ve switched to yellow, but I’m pretty certain this is pretty fresh. A: pours golden yellow with a little under a finger of white foam which falls to a large central cap and a surrounding ring. Excellent clarity. Spotty lace. S: Yeah, this is fresh. pine, citrus, bubble gum, sweet and dry malts. Simple, elegant. T: Good and hoppy with resiny, piny, fruity hops. A little further leaning on the resin aspect, this beer is like Devil Dancer light with a good amount more sweetness from the malts. Nice. M: Medium bodied with moderate carb and a noninvasive finish. O: Scary sessionable. I could drink this quickly and would, sadly, be done too soon only left to stumble my sweet ass to bed early. As usual, Founders rarely fails to impress. Solid beer. Serving type: bottle 10-15-2011

Bottle from West Lakeview Liquors, Chicago. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Light fruity hop aroma. Fresh hop taste, light malt, with a moderately bitter finish. Medium-full body. I’ve had better IPAs from Founders, but this is still nothing to shake a stick at.

Draught. Golden orange pour with big white head. Choppy aroma. Earthy but very clean finish and not overly grapefruitish

Pours a murky light golden color, with nearly no head at all. Toasty caramel, apricot and citrus nose. Medium body, wet, mildly scrubby, and somewhat chalky textures. Surprisingly big flavor of apricot, orange, and lemon. Begins sweet, but finishes nicely bitter.

12 oz. bottle from SoHo Organic Market, Elizabeth City, NC (replaces an earlier review from 2009). Pours yellowish-orange with a short off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit rind and pine needles. Juicy bitter hop flavor of pineapple, grapefruit and light pine. Finishes with a touch of lemon flesh and although the taste is bitter it is still quite approachable. A great IPA.

On tap @ a local watering hole. Served in a pint glass. Pours orange/gold with a 2 finger white head. Nice head retention with thick lace. Strong hop aroma featuring pine resin and grapefruit. Little bit of lemon and orange zest in there too. Flavor is a well blended mix of fruit flavors, bitter hops and a touch of caramel malt. Medium bodied and fairly easy to drink. Mild lingering bitterness. Nice job.

Bottle. Pours a semi clear light yellow golden color with a small white head. Nose is deep rich citrus, predominately grapefruit. Taste is citrusy with some pine and hoppiness. Finishes on citrus notes, with some bitterness and mild lingering. Solid IPA. Quaff Score 7 / 10

Pours a golden orange with a white head and aroma of hops, citrus, and toasted malt. Bittersweet taste up front, nice citrus, resin, and hops with underlying toasted malt and caramel leading to a bitter, dry finish. Nice IPA

Clear golden ale. Thin white head. Citrus and grassy notes. Bitter but not too much as the grassy flavors come through and save it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
