4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Damico (1920) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 21, 2012
Pours golden with a light orange hue and decent creamy white head. Aroma brings the hops in a pure way, piney notes for sure. The aroma and flavor both bring the juicy hop presence described. The body is crisp and the flavor of the hops settle so smoothly, not potent but more subtle blending of bitter and piney hop notes.

Pours a clear golden hue with a off-white head. Strong aroma of pine from the hops. The mouthfeel is full which comes across right away. The taste is very well balanced giving you the full hop impact but with tempered bitterness due to the maltiness. After tasting multiple versions of harvest ale this is my favorite.

Oh these month+ old ratings I find in little notebooks while looking for other stuff.
Bless you my little lost rating, bless you.
Pours a pale golden with a small tight head and nice lacing on the glass.
The aroma is pretty much like a sack o’ mixed hops, floral ones, fruity ones, some light oniony character in there too. Plenty of grapefruit and citrus rind.
The flavor is very enjoyable, in a sort of refined clean hoppy kind of way. Plenty of fruity hops, plenty of grapefruit, some bracing bitterness. The beer is midlly sweet but well balanced. I can’t imagine this is anything but garbage with a bit of age on it.... but this draught sample was very fresh and was excellent.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 PhillyCraft (1971) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 15, 2012
Fresh bottle from Canals, pours a lightly hazy orange shade with medium white head and lacing. Aromas of tangerine, pine, toasted malt, and more citrus. Lots of citrus from the delicious hops in this brew. Taste was grapefruit, pine, orange zest, and only a touch of vanilla tasting malt. Medium body. Finishes only a little bitter for all the hops present. Excellent.

Nicely done. Growler into a tulip. Nice golden color with decent white head. Nose of hops and a little malt. Taste of hops with a nice sweet malt backbone. Good stuff.

12oz bottle poured into glass. Nice floral hoppy aroma with a tad bit of citrus/grapefruit. Very well balanced and drinkable. No frills but just a good straight forward IPA.
4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 chanokokoro (138) - Illinois, USA - DEC 9, 2012
12 oz. bottle poured into a Founders Brewing branded shaker pint glass.
Pours translucent golden with slight amber accents. The bright white one and a half finger head has excellent retention and abundant spider web-like lacing present along the side of glass. Adundant aroma of pineapple, citrus blossoms, and resin. Opens with citrus, sweet and juicy pineapple joined slightly sweet biscuity malt, finishes semi-dry with just the right amount of grapefruit rind bite. Medium-bodied, sticky, and oily mouthfeel with a perfect level of gentle carbonation. In my opinion, the most exceptionally well balanced wet hop IPA I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying. An annual must-have.

12oz tasty bottle. Clear slightly pale orange with a nice white head. Orange peel, resin, light sweet malt, some grapefruit and peaches. Moderare body and carbonation but light and fresh, slight sweetness and then more bitter, becomes nice and dry. Like this.

Bottle thnx to Stakem! Cheers buddy!!! Pours a straw yellow hazy coloured beer with a small white head. Huge aroma of fresh, floral hop juice and resins. Flavour is hoppy bitter, very much resin and hop juicyness detected.. great. Medium bodied, long, lingering finish. Great brew!!

pours a straw color with minimal tan head. Aromas are mostly very strong hops with some pine . Tastes just like it smells, almost all hops, tasty though. You do get a little pine and citrus with the bitter finish.
