12oz bottle acquired in trade with ogglethorp (thanks!). Initially poured a medium and clear golden color with a larger sized off white head. Towards the middle and especially the bottom, it grew hazier and deeper with lots of suspended floaters. Initial appearance would have been a 3 but Iíll rate on the later. Aromas of citrus, toasted malts, and lightly floral. Tastes of citrus, caramel, and fruity. Some lacing left on the glass.

Bottle. Solid cloudy orange color in the glass with a fine white head. Perfect spicy hop nose, but not overpowering. Medium body. Flavor also was hoppy with a balance more towards the sweetness of the malt. Finished slightly sweet. Well balanced, I could continue drinking without being overwhelmed by the sweetness.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A hazy gold beer with rocky snow white head that lasted for some time. Generic hop aroma with faint malt sweetness. Bitter hop body with a faint and unintrusive malt sweetness for balance. Most excellent.

Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma dominated by hops but with a nice touch of malt. Flavor dominated initially by intensely bitter hops up front well balanced by a nice maltiness. Crisp and very drinkable.

This is the best Pale Ale Iíve ever had. IT was so perfectly balanced between malt and hops. Extremely drinkable, fresh, crisp, and delicious. Iím always on the lookout for a good apa, and this is one you must try.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to CaptainCougar. Dark gold with huge white head. Fresh grassy, hoppy and citrus nose. Flavor is much the same, with a mild malty and bitter finish. Really smooth texture with not too much of hop.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Small white head that mostly diminished, spotty amounts of lacing, carbonation noted, cloudy, and a golden pale yellow hue. Nose was light in malt, hoppy, grapefruit, pineapple, and fruity notes. Ditto for the flavor with a dry finish. Fairly smooth and dry mouthfeel. Medium body. A very, very quaffable beer, nicely done, easy to drink, worthy of a try and one that I would drink again. Hats off to Founders!

Those sweet wet hops, soft on bitterness, big on fruity fresh hop flavor. Pours orange/amber with a small white head. Big floral hop nose fruity and citrusy. Stays sweeter through the flavor, finish is stock with wet hops, not crisp and dry like if all full of bittering hops. Very enjoyable brew, thanks to Ughsmash for this one.
