Pours a bright, hazy apricot color. Aroma is floral hops, some citrus, some odd mango notes. Flavor is a touch subdued, but is very enjoyable. Nice beer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Ughsmash. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a thin head layer. Looks like a wheat beer. Fairly floral and herbal hop aroma. A touch of sour dough bread as well. Nice and subtle hops. They come through as almost juicy. A light fruity bitterness with a touch of pepper. This is a great APA. I really enjoy the subtle bitterness and lightly balanced malt backing. Medium carb, medium body, a lingering dryness coats the palate.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden/orange in color the beer had a lot of "floaties" throughout but it was just purchased today and arrived a few days ago so had not had a chance to settle. The nose gives off scents of rock candy, citric hops and an herbal component. In the mouth it was medium-bodied with a rich mouthfeel and very good balance. It continues to show an herbal quality with bitter hops balanced by some sweet caramel malt. A very easy drinking beer this could be considered simple until you think about it and realize the herbal complexity.

12 OZ BOTTLE via Myst Swap 3.0 (thanks iowaherkeye!. Man i love a GOOD wet-hopped beer and have been wanting to try this one forever. It pours a hazy amber with a large off-white head. Nose is a wonerful bouquet of floral and citrus hoppiness. Taste is everything i had hoped for and THEN SOME. Begins with some semi-sweet maltiness that is a touch biscuity, but stays down to allow the hops to shine through. And shine through they do...orange, pine, sweet grapefruit, spruce, pineapple, apricot and even hay. Damn this is great stuff. The body is light/medium, and the carbonation just right. This is a very well crafted beer that allows the fresh hops to really shine. I am beyond impressed!

3.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Hazy orange, minimal head, and a lot of lingering bubbles on the side of the glass in the beer. Huge sweet nose with lots of juicy hops, sugars, and fruit. The taste is more subtle than the aroma with sweet, spicy bitterness. The mouthfeel is too fizzy, like something between champagne and soda. Kinda sticky finish.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Illini08 shared a bottle, thanks. Pours a yellow gold with a decent white head. Aroma is citrusy fruit with a bit of pine. Flavor is straight-forward with not much malt presence and plenty of hop flavor. Finishes a bit dry without any hop bitterness to speak of. A smooth and easy drinking brew.

Aroma is average malt (grain, cereal, meal), heavy hops (flowers, perfume, pine, citrus), average yeast (sweat) with notes of plastic. Medium bodied, gritty texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness.

UPDATED: FEB 13, 2009 In short: A very flavourful and refreshing Pale Ale with focus on orange/citrus.
How: 12oz bottle drank with a few weeks after receiving it from drewbeerme, thanks a lot Andrew.
The look: Cloudy blonde-orangey body with a very small white head
In long: A lot of orange and citrus on the nose. Taste is more of the same with lots of orange and citrus, some grapefruit, a little pine needles, a lick of vanilla. Surprisingly yeasty. Fluffy mouthfeel. The malt profile is rather shy flavourwise. Not much caramel or anything like that although the beer is still a little sweet. This is drinkable very in large quantities. How can anybody not like such a refreshing flavourful beer is like quantum mechanic and women reasoning, I just don’t understand it.
