This liquid dream pours a hazy golden orange straw color with a large puffy white two-finger head. First sip of this beer rewards with a super juicy hop presence bursting with fresh orange and lemon citrus then continues to introduce toasted malt undertones.

Large bright white head of fine, dense and creamy bubbles. Settles slowly with light carbonation. Big citrusy aroma with lots of grapefruit, flowers, light malts and some lemon and grassy flavors. Color is a slightly hazy golden orange. Light to medium bodied with lots of citrusy flavors, some light malts, lemon, straw, pine and bread. Semi dry and moderately bitter. Finished dry and a bit pasty with some lingering lemon and grapefruit. A pretty good IPA!

smooth and flavorful for sure! hops are citrus and pine with grapefruit and tangerine and mild malt flavor that is sweet and in my mind grapey tasting. some part of me says this somewhat imitation grape taste is not to be condoned but i can’t help it i love the brew and the taste. i could say tricky i could say magical hey this may be a one beer wonder but again i had one and it was great. no hint of alcohol and nice aroma.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2009 Hazy, honey colored with a fluffly, bright white head. Aroma is floral hops, honey, and grapefruit. Flavor is very strong on the hops but balanced nicely with a sweet grapefruit flavor. Palate was beautiful - very smooth, drinkable, and has a loooong finish.

Bottle pours a scary looking hazed and particulate riddled straw yellow with a monster clingy head that laces in sheets. The aroma is hops, floral, pine, and some bread. The flavor is fairly hop significant, but there is some sweet malt to back it up. The palate is decent enough. Overall, I like it.

Bottle. Cloudy golden body with a huge, foamy, off-white head. Nice floral aroma with side notes of orange juice, orange peel, grapefruit, grains and bread. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. The ale finishes moderately sweet and moderately bitter, leaving a malty taste in the finish which is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Not as clean as some IPAs, but full of flavor. Nice.

12-oz. Thanks, Pantanap! One of the strangest experiences I have had with a beer lately, I would have to say. Poured a slightly hazy medium gold. Good sudsy white head. This is the weird part--the nose seemed to consist entirely of powdered sugar. Maybe I ate something? I have no idea, but it was not a real stellar example of IPA aromatics. Prickly carb, medium body. Some nutty malt, then resiny hop at the finish. Something funny happened, or maybe we waited too long to drink it, but this was a bit of a bummer.

Pours hazy light gold, with a huge chunky slightly off white head, great retention, great lacing. Aroma is floral and pine hops, a decent amount of grapefruit, caramel, toffee, yeasty bread and a slight fruity note. Flavor is lots of light caramel, some sweet crusty bread, spicy yeast, hops are mostly citrus, just a hint of pine. Finish is fairly low on bitterness, instead has a nice long grapefruit and pine hops draw riding on a sweet toffee and bread wave, nice and clean at the end too. Body is medium, warm and relatively slick.

Bottle. Pours bright foggy gold with a long lasting, fluffy white head. Strong floral hop aroma, some peach and grapefruit. The flavor is much more well balanced than the aroma suggests. Floral, citric hops, sweet malt. Very nice.

Golden pour with a big white head. Piney hop nose. Flavor is caramel malt with a heavy citrusy hop presence. Medium bodied. Nice.
