This liquid dream pours a hazy golden orange straw color with a large puffy white two-finger head. First sip of this beer rewards with a super juicy hop presence bursting with fresh orange and lemon citrus then continues to introduce toasted malt undertones.

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2013 12oz bottle taken home from founders. 2012 edition. Pours clear straw yellow. White head of what looks like medium density that's about a half inch high. STRONG hop aroma, specifically juicy grapefruit and a bit of citrus. Hoppy flavor tastes just like sweet grapefruit, some lime and strong cilandro as well. Finish is surprising: super light, almost non-existent, just slightly bitter. Notable because it isn’t dry at all. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle - by far my favorite fall release. Pours a perfectly clear golden yellow color with lasting wisp of white head. Aroma is overall mild, but a blast of fresh dank hop bitterness nonetheless. Tropical fruit with pineapple and papaya as well. Flavor is delicious - bright floral hop bitterness with more fruity sweetness. Medium bodied, active carbonation, lingering bitter finish. Always worth the wait.

Bottle. Clear gold with a slight tint. Aroma is big lemon and orange citrus notes. The taste follows adding a touch of malt but, the clean, fresh hops take over and basically pop in your mouth with juicy citrus. The body is light on the palate with high carb and a short finish. Overall, as good as they come for harvest ales.

Transfer from BA review on 1-17-14- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a two finger head of a white color. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading to leave a moderate level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer heaviest of a citrus smell being a mix of citrus hop and a bit of sweet orange. Along with these aromas are notes of other hops with some pine and herbal smells present. Some light sweeter caramel smells as well as a bit of a bready smell are there as well giving an overall nice balanced IPA smell. Taste – The taste begins with some tropical fruit tastes as well as a bit of a bready taste. The tropical fruits are largely of tangerine and mango but also have hints of pineapple within. Along with the bready and fruit are some hop flavors of a citrus nature. As the taste advances some grassy and herbal flavors come to the tongue. A moderately strong pine flavor later joins the tongue more toward the middle to the end giving a nice little resinous bite to the beer. While a sweeter caramel taste develops more toward the middle of the taste, it, as well as some of the fruit dwindle a bit toward the end. With some earthy hops coming to the tongue at the end of the taste, and combined with the rest of the tastes of the brew, one is left with a somewhat crackery, lightly sweetened and moderately hopped flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is on average side as well. For the drinkability and the style both were quite appropriate, creating a rather easy drinking but flavorful IPA. Overall – A good hop blended IPA. Rather tasty overall.

Draught @ Headkeeper: This one pours a fairly clear straw yellow color. There was a small white head and it left some lacing. The aroma is a bit milder. Some malts, citrus and earthy hops, and slightly musty. The taste is good. Nice malt body. Somewhat tart/bitter flavor. Some pine and lemon hops. Nice.

Tasted from a 12oz bottle. It poured a cloudy golden color with a white head and streaky lacing. Very subtle aroma of hops and malt with a citrus hop taste.

Had it out of a bottle. Poured a hazy orange with a lemon pledge aroma and a citrus hop taste.
