COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This liquid dream pours a hazy golden orange straw color with a large puffy white two-finger head. First sip of this beer rewards with a super juicy hop presence bursting with fresh orange and lemon citrus then continues to introduce toasted malt undertones.

The term "wet hop" apparently refers to the use of hops when they are fresh off the vine, prior to being dried. For that reason, wet hopped beers are only available in the fall. This one seems to be the best one. It's very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Like the label says, straw yellow color. Big puffy head. Not a lot of carbonation. Aroma is a lovely, resinous pine aroma. Even though it was bottled on 09/30/14 (drank 12/19/14), it still has a freshness in the nose. The rye malt aroma is very spicy and adds a finished wood quality. Flavor is not as fresh as it might have been a few months ago, but still holds up. There is a juicy hop (again, just like the label says) that resembles sort of a a mimosa, with a hint of mind leaf. There is a prickly feel at the end. Like an IPA with and orange juice and champagne tingle.

Beautiful yellow with a fluffy white head, generous aroma of piney dank hops, incredible lacing, flavors of citrus and hop oils, with a delicious bitter finish. Ungh...

Bottle from Hoff dated 9/30/14. Aroma is awesome on this. As soon as I popped it, I could smell fresh lemons immediately. Very unique hops in this one. Taste is lemon zest, grapefruit and pear. Finishes crisp and bitter with nice malt backbone combo. Great seasonal.

Bottle (12 oz) bought @ Craft Beer Cellar Waterbury. Bottled on 09-30-2014, so 2½ months now.

Appearance: Clear deep golden with a small easy to revive white head and little lacing.

Aroma: Quite floral and piney with leafy hops, citrus zest and some minerality.

Taste: Pine/spruce presence with leafy hops, floral presence, light citrus and light bitterness.

Palate: Medium body. Moderate/medium carbonation. A tad oily mouthfeel. Piney finish.

Overall: Good Harvest Ale, but a top-50 IPA? Really? There’s probably some "Founders majoration points" here that works in a reverse way for me. Easy to drink, especially for the ABV. Tasty. Quite piney.

I wish I could get this in bulk, a hop bomb, crisp and clean, very smooth, piney, floral, citrus, well done

The aroma is dominated by piney hops, with an orangey/grapefruity and vaguely floral edge. Some spices and malted grain also show up. The mouthfeel is medium, with medium viscosity and a slightly oily body. The taste is citrusy and piney bitter, with a fair share of fruity and spicy flavors. A vaguely malty (think the smell of a sack of fresh barley) flavor lingers, as well as some bitter notes. I’d drink this stuff again.

12oz bottle. golden pale pour. Aromas of citrus and grass, oily hops. Up front fresh hop flavors of a mix of Grapefruits and oranges, followed by a nice balance of sweet malts and bitterness. Crisp and mild dry bitter finish. Excellent!
