GAManiac (266), Atlanta, Georgia, USA May 30, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Schroppfy. Pours a hazy golden straw color with a big puffy white two finger head. Retention was very good and lacing was decent. Smell is a very light citrus hop aroma with lemon and oranges in addition to a hint of sweet bready malts in the background. Taste had a bit more pine hops than the smell though they are very subtle and balanced well with the sweet malts. The finish is mainly lemon zest with little bitterness at all. Mouthfeel is creamy but light and very crisp with moderate carbonation. This a very light, crisp drinkable APA and a great beer for a hot summer in Georgia. Recommended.
ajm (304), USA Aug 7, 2008 Bottle from the Detroit Destroyer nbutler11 - his will be done. Aroma is so nice there could be more of it - very smooth flavor of orange zest, apple, light bitterness with yeast on the exhale. A damn fine summertime drink and my favorite Harvest since HopTrip. nbutler11 (108), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Aug 6, 2008 Poured a golden color from the bottle with a thick white head. Plenty of hops and citrus in the aroma. Smooth, thick body with the mild bitterness of hops, cream, and orange peel. Highly drinkable. madsberg (4365), Bangalore, India Jun 26, 2008 Bottled at Papsoes Blind tasting 19th. June 2008 no 11: Dark yelllow coloured. Unclear. Off white head.
