UPDATED: JAN 28, 2006 A reddish/amber coloring with a modest head, this carried a malty, almost lager-like flavoring with nearly negligible hopping. Mild taste. Mild aroma. Mild enthusiasm for imbibing it again.

Bright, clear copper in color. Largely malty aroma, some hop creeps in, though. Overall flavor is pretty mild, and this is hopped with Kent Goldings. Malt is not caramelized or very sweet, more like typical barley malt taste (like Grape Nuts!). There may also be a bit of wheat in here, I could swear I tasted some. Finish is pretty dry, and balance is not too bad on this mellow Pale.
