On tap @ Logan’s Alley. Poured dark brown with a nice light brown head. Caramel malt aroma with some dark fruit. medium to full bodied, with a nice flavor of caramel malts, plums, and some moderate spiciness , alcohol is fairly apparent, but is nicely warming. overall a very solid beer.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of tan colored fine to medium sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a fair lacing and a transparent brown colored softly carbonated body. The aroma was mild malty with nutty brown malt notes and the mouth feel was initially smooth and tingly with a malt hop brown malt bite in the finish. The flavor was mildly vinous at the start and grew in intensity after a few sips ending with a strongly vinous brown malt flavor.

Draft at FBC. Small tan creamy head that mostly dissipated, fine, small & medium sized bubbles, fair lacing, transparent, and a brown hue. Nose was malty, caramel and some fruityness. Flavor was malty, caramel, vinuous and a light taste of chocolate. Tingly mouthfeel. Light-Medium body.

Tap at Founders. Dark brown, big malty aroma of molasses and caramel. Gets somewhat sweet, smooth and sultry on the palate. Tasty at 9.1% abv.

On draft at the brewery. Very darkish brown pour with quite attractive head. Aroma of malt, caramel, some fruit. Thought this was quite taste, and at 9.1! watch out.
