COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A fine companion to end a meal or relax in front of the hearth with, this robust ale will cellar well for years. Brewed with ten varieties of malted barley this stout is extremely smooth, complex and rich in body. We recommend serving at cellar temperature. Sit back and enjoy its richness and complexity, you’re about to drink the ultimate winter warmer.

Draft @ Coles, Buffalo, NY> Dark Dark pour. Nice lacing after a slowly diminishing dark khaki head. Aromas of dark chocolate, black coffee, deep roasted malts. Taste is Big roastiness, chocolate. Extremely favorful & Booziness is really well hidden. Very Very good

12 oz bottle from Julio’s
Appearance : Pours thick oily black with almost no head. I managed to get some foam but it was hard. Head is creamy and dark brown.
Aroma : Strong roasted malt with some resinous hops. Hints of coffee and chocolate. After heating up a bit I get strong notes of liquorice mixing with the hops and the roasted malts.
Taste : Strong roasted malt with quite a lot of hops. Finish is intensely roasty and warm with hops. Mouthfeel is thick and oily. Finish starts almost fruity then very warm leading to a solid bitterness and ending with lots of roasted malts.
Overall : This is a sipper. You can feel the whole 10%. Highly complex and rich. Nice balance between hops and roasted malt. i could sip this all night. Very complex, very intense and tasty. Even warm it’s still awesome (maybe a bit too much alcohol when warm however). Awesome stuff !

Deep Chocolate notes with sweetness in the aroma. Dark with a thin tan head. Taste is smooth for such a strong beer. Starts a bit sweet and then some hops and malt hit. Chocolate at the end. Full palate that makes the beer seem chewy.

Maybe the quintessential imperial stout. If someone were ask me to give them a good example of an imperial stout and what characteristics it should hold- I’d probably give em this. Nice nose of dry chocolate, some bitter coffee and roast malt. Taste is mostly roast malt and bakers chocolate. Doesn’t get too sweet like some others in the style.

Aroma of coffee, caramel, malt, and smoke. Pours a dark black color with a chocolate tan soapy head. Sweet up front, bitters and chocolate on the back end. Very tasty. The smoke is always a turn off for me. But if I get past the smoke, this beer is a very tasty stout.

Poured a thick, opaque brown/black with a tight, almost like a well tapped guinness, head. Full bodied, but smooth taste, somewhat on the sweet side. A winter seasonal and one of the very few reasons to lament the end of a Wisconsin winter.

Bottle from a trade with phaleslu. Pours black with creamy brown head. Aromas of roasted malts and chocolate. Flavors of coffee, chocolate and burnt malts. A little ashy. Full body with minimal carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Thanks Peter.
