A fine companion to end a meal or relax in front of the hearth with, this robust ale will cellar well for years. Brewed with ten varieties of malted barley this stout is extremely smooth, complex and rich in body. We recommend serving at cellar temperature. Sit back and enjoy its richness and complexity, you’re about to drink the ultimate winter warmer.

Chai tea comes to mind bergamot cinnamon, really good. Some liquorice otherwise really gentle and exemplary imperial stout. Really fantastic, sticky, kinda dry, just bomb. Thanks @lore!!!

Bottle at home. It is not often I comment on appearance, but I gotta say this looks like a work of art with its ink black pour and thick brown head. Aroma is strong roasted malt, rich chewy malt, liquorice, coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate, touch of vanilla, slight hint of dark fruits. Flavour is medium sweet and above moderate roasty bitter. Body is quite full and wonderfully thick. Amazing Imperial Stout, almost need to chew it.

The perfect stout. Founders knows what they’re doing when it comes to the dark beers. Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tulip glass. The look is engine oil black. The head is thick and pillowy dark brown. Dark fruits are aroma and flavor forward. Burnt sugar and succulent caramel. Velvety cocoa texture with robust roast in the finish.

355ml bottle. Jet black with a one finger dark brown head, good retention. Aroma: roasted malts, dark fruits, dark chocolate, coffee. Taste: follows the aroma, sweet dark fruit, roasted malts, caramel, some dark chocolate, coffee, alcohol, quite a bitter finish. Full bodied, slick creamy mouthfeel. Fantastic beer.
