1/31/13. Bottle. Pours black with a very thin dark brown head. Aroma is chocolate, booze, roasty, coffee, bitter fruits. Taste is smooth, but also boozey and strong; dark chocolate coffee, dark fruit, some hops for balance, lots of malt countered by a good dose of bitterness. Mouth feel is creamy. Medium carbonation. Very complex; very well crafted. An excellent Imperial Stout to base others against.

Intense aroma with lots of dark syrup, caramel roastiness and dark fruits. Even more roadtiness in taste, burnt toast coffee and dark chocolate. Finish is long lasting with coffee bitterness and bit of liquorice. Texture is creamy and body is full. A perfect imperial stout

Bottled. EXP: December 2014. Pours pitch black with a typical imperial stoutish head (creamy, dissapears fast). Aroma: a lot of coffee, roasted malt, raisins, some pleasant alcohol aroma, with a touch of vanilla. Taste: coffee, roasted malt with pleasant bitterness at the end and a warming alcohol feeling in the throat. Slight sourness on the tongue. Fantastic beer, however, I wish I had left it in the cellar for at least 6 more months. It would have definitely got more complex.

Pours a deep black color (engine oil) topped with a dark cream colored head. A plesant roasty aroma, some coffee and some notes of chocolate. The body is creamy, starts with nice little bitterness, followed by a strong roasty feel and lots of coffee notes. Would be very nice, if I liked the coffee notes.

12 oz bottle. Tasted on 8/9/14. Beer from Moore Liquor. The beer pours to a deep black color with a rich brown head. The aroma is strong with notes of coco, dark chocolate & roasted malt. The taste is rich & very smooth with a similar flavor as the nose. The finish is dry & very smooth. A great stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
