Aroma of roasted brazilnut. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Tastes of charcoal with a hint of meat at the end. The stout is well represented here.

Bottle. Very dark brown almost black, small to average and mostly diminishing dark brown head. Moderate to full, malty and sweetish aroma, roasted malt - light burnt malt, some coffee and salty licorice, light hoppyness Body is full, malty and sweetish flavor, roasted malt and light licorice, light alcohol. Finish is average to long, malty and sweetish, roasted malt - light burnt malt, light coffee and salty licorice, light hoppyness and alcohol. Nice roasted and full bodied IS. Unfortunately too sweet for me - could use more bitterness to balance the sweetness.

This was good, but not as good as I expected. Boozy for sure, but the malty characters I’ve come to expect from I stouts was a bit subdued imo. Maybe my nose could be a little bit less stuffy though. Nothing really defining that I can find, but a pretty well rounded brew, albeit underwhelming at times. I will have to try again sometime

Poured from a bottle brewed four months ago. Formed a very thin, foamy head. Black with a reddish tinge. Sour, bitter, and umpleasant after taste. Perhaps it?s a bad bottle. If not, i don?t get the hype. But on the plus side, it is impossible to not relax after you manage to finish the glass.
