A fine companion to end a meal or relax in front of the hearth with, this robust ale will cellar well for years. Brewed with ten varieties of malted barley this stout is extremely smooth, complex and rich in body. We recommend serving at cellar temperature. Sit back and enjoy its richness and complexity, you’re about to drink the ultimate winter warmer.

A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with quite a lot of alcohol, while the flavor is very sweet with strong notes of roasted malt besides a strong alcohol presence. The body is very thick - almost like syrup.

Bottled, thanks Baggio! Very black, pale brown head. Tarry licorice attack my nostrils. Mid-sweet with rock solid body. Bold and licorice-harsh, never alcoholic. Some chocolate lures behind. Finishes with powerful tarry bitterness. All about power and big flavours.

Opaque black beer, frothy chocolate head. Nose of licorice and molasses. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Rich stout - seamless blend of coffee, licorice, chocolate and a little cherry fruit. Finishes with mild aniseed alcohol and aftertaste of hop bitterness and aniseed.
