COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A bit of backwoods pleasure without the banjo. This strong stout is brewed with a hint of coffee and vanilla then aged in oak bourbon barrels. Our process ensures that strong bourbon undertones come through in the finish in every batch we brew. We recommend decanting at room temperature and best enjoyed in a brandy snifter.

UPDATED: SEP 11, 2016 Tasted as one masterpiece of a marvellous beer tasting with Kapusil and Cristobal; Dark brown colour creamy beige lacing; aroma of tobacco, vanilla, chocolate, some coffe and herbs; taste is the same with syrupy-roasted notes and whisky; some peppery-chilli like notes in the aftertaste; smooth beer without any mistake

Aroma is filled with alcohol and coffee. Taste is not too overpowering. Coffee notes balanced with oak flavor of Barell. Enjoyable.

Flaska.

Sampled 2012 and 2013. Preference towards 2013 though to my undertrained pallete the only perceivable difference is a better balance in vanilla notes of 2013 (less overpowering and more balanced). Amazingly complex. Something to savor and think on. I am not generally a fan of the stout style but just because she is not my type doesn’t mean I won’t.

Draught. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitterb flavor. Strong bourbon notes. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Great but bourbon is not my thing.

Draught sample at CBWF 2016. Pitch black with a thin, tanned head. Sweet, roasted aroma with dark malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel malts, whisky barrel and vanilla. Taste is sweet. Full body with an oily texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and roasted bitter with lingering dark malts and whisky barrel. Excellent Stout.

McWorta (1516) - LUXEMBOURG - AUG 27, 2016
Dark brown-black with a chocolatey head, good lacings. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee, chococlate, bourbon vanilla, wet wood and some earthy tones develop with a very faint herbal impression. Faintly carbonated, velvety-smooth and medium-full bodied. Chocolate sweetness with bourbon vanilla action and a pinch of roasted coffee flavours rounds this beer very well off in a lasting joyful finish.
