blah..the big froot was much better...golden body, small white head. aroma of cherry, sugar, and light grass. flavor profile is mostly berry, with a slight honey/sugary finish. very earthy as well

Pint at Founders. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Creamy malt (almost cream ale-like) nose with berry and cherry notes. Sweet and tart cherry flavor followed by apple and berry notes with a tart finish.

Silphium (3173) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 30, 2009
On tap at Founders. Translucent straw body, no head. Wet grassy nose with cherry juice. Tart, light body with spritzy carbonation, dominated by cherry, backed by wet hay and spicy hops. Predictably bland, obviously intended for people who can’t stomach the better beers.

deyholla (6714) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - DEC 30, 2009
On tap at Founders. Poured a clear gold with a slight amber hue and no head to speak of. Aroma had notes of veggies (carrots), cherries and a touch of tart raspberry. Taste was very similar to V-8 splash with a combo of veggies (carrot and celery) with cherry and raspberry.

draft at the brewpub: rating this off just a tasting, light golden amber color, light fruity flavor with a dry finish, not bad but not as interesting as some of the other brews founders is putting out
