2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Silphium (2718) - East Lansing, USA - DEC 30, 2009
On tap at Founders. Translucent straw body, no head. Wet grassy nose with cherry juice. Tart, light body with spritzy carbonation, dominated by cherry, backed by wet hay and spicy hops. Predictably bland, obviously intended for people who can’t stomach the better beers.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 deyholla (3528) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 30, 2009
On tap at Founders. Poured a clear gold with a slight amber hue and no head to speak of. Aroma had notes of veggies (carrots), cherries and a touch of tart raspberry. Taste was very similar to V-8 splash with a combo of veggies (carrot and celery) with cherry and raspberry.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 bp (670) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 29, 2009
draft at the brewpub: rating this off just a tasting, light golden amber color, light fruity flavor with a dry finish, not bad but not as interesting as some of the other brews founders is putting out
