On tap at the Brewery. Pours yellow gold white with lacing. Strong hops pine citrus with a hefty dose of fusel alcohols. A mess of flavors. Lots of pine hops, sweet malts, alcohol in yo face. Really boozy. Not into it. 7/4/6/3/12 3.2

On tap at Founders while in town for RBSG. Pours amber, almost clear, just a touch of haze, with a thin white head. Bit of wood on the nose, nice spicy hops, slight sweet aromas. Medium bodied, lightly sweet with a bit of alcohol peeking through. Lots of nice earthy hop flavors coming through, very juicy. Long lasting grapefruit and quinine bitterness and some warm long alcohol.

orange body with small white head..aroma of huge hops, brandy, fruit and honey...expecting a big bitter hop body from this..flavor is very similar, and a bit hot. huge brandy, florals, fruits and bitterness... there are so many things going on in the flavor. very complex and excellent

On tap at Founders. Poured clear medium golden with a short, but sticky white head. The aroma opened with off-putting rubbing alcohol with sweet bready malts and a touch of honey beneath.. pine, earth, and black peppery hops rose with warmth.. this grew on me. The flavor found honey and bready malts at the core, along with a splash of mixed medium-skinned fruits.. peppery alcohol, spicy pine, and earthy bitterness surrounded.. finished warm with plenty of residual sugars and lesser spicy bitterness. Medium-plus bodied on the palate with rolling carbonation.. grainy at times.. near “4” for feel.

On tap at Founders. Pours a hazy amber shade with a khaki head. Great citric hop aroma and flavor with an added element of sweetness. Very balanced for the ABV. The barrel doesn’t overtake the flavor of the DIPA at all. Impressive.

Hazy golden color with a short white head. Citrus nose with some brandy sweetness. Smooth palate, medium-bodied, lasting and puckering finish. Well-balanced with assertive juicy and citrusy hops and brandy sweetness. Perfectly balanced. Enjoyable!

Draft at Founders. Pours just like Double Trouble. Clear, slightly rosey gold. Nose is perfumed with tons of citrusy hops and light brandy notes. The char level is noticeably lower on these brandy barrels as you get far less vanilla and more oakiness. The tannins from the oak and the hop bitterness play very nicely with one another and the fruitiness of the brandy compliments the choice fruity hops. Fantastic.

Draft at brewpub. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus, earthy hop, wood and alcohol aroma. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate alcohol bite at the finish. Standout brew.
