Draft at Founders Taproom on 8/12/11. Poured a darkish brown. Off white head. Aroma was very mild, just a bit of roasted nuts. Flavor also muted. Some caramel and maltiness. This one was just ok for me. Very drinkable, but not very memorable.

On tap at Founders brewery. Dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of raosted malt, nuts, malt and more nuts but in a mild way. Taste of roasted malt, nuts, chestnut, malt and a peppery finish. Not bad, considering the word mild is in its title.

tap at founders. i think this is the base brown (or uses the same base) for the misty, cashew, maple, and other brown variations they put out seasonally/yearly. pours translucent brown with white head. light hops accompany the slightly toasted oat profile. nothing too substantial here, just a solid quaff brown ale.
