A Founders take on a classic style, brewed with a generous amount of flaked oats, chocolate malt, roasted barley and a healthy helping of Nugget hops, Founders Oatmeal Stout is nitrogen-infused to give it an extra smooth and creamy mouthfeel. An attractive cascade effect gives this beer its forthright visual appeal—and the body and clean flavor delivers on that initial promise.

Nitro Tap:dark black with a sweet tan nitro head that sticks all over the glass. Aroma of coffee and malt. Initially, flavors of coffee and then moves to some choco sweetness. Great slick feel. Slight bitter trailer. I could easily pound a few pints of this and not feel too heavy.

had a pint of this on Nitro, which i think unfortunetly killed any real flavour or complexity .. . silky mouth feel .. empty mouth and finish .. . really boring, but i will retry if i can get a bottle or regular draft sample .. . . if you’re a battery, you’re either working or you’re dead… what a shit life.

Dark brown, black. Perfect nitro head. Medium body. Creamy. Smooth. Light roasty. No bitterness. An little graham cracker, especially in the nose. Very easy to drink

Draft: (nitro) Black...huge creamy tan head. Coffee, chocolate, lactic aroma. Lightly bitter coffee, sweet chocolate malt and cream flavour. Smooth, easy.....but drinks "stouter" than the ABV would suggest. Really tasty.

Nice stout that is pretty light for the style but still has plenty of personality. Opaque black, of course, with a frothy white head. Nose mostly consists of dark chocolate and a little bit of oatmeal. Flavors are more of the same but the oatmeal is more pronounced in the finish. Dry but creamy mouthfeel, slightly bitter.

Keg at Beer Run. Cheers to Drake. The pour’s deep brown with a tight tan head. Attractive pour. The nose is straight oatmeal. Chocolate, a bit of lactose. The taste is pretty dry. Cocoa powder, marshmallows. Some roared malt. Light body, soft and pillowy. Decent.

On tap at Boombozz in Jeffersonville. Black pour with a thick creamy tan head. Roasty aromas of coffee and cocoa. Flavor is roasted malts upfront with notes of cocoa and coffee. Lots of flavor but not very heavy. Very drinkable.
