3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Leon’s. Dark, nearly black pour, with a huge nitro frothy head. The aroma is immediate dark chocolates and coffee, with some unpleasant burnt bread. The flavor is very sweet, with a little sour and bitter notes in the finish. Medium body, a little cream, and astringent. Overall, this is a slightly disappointing stout.

Pours an opaque brownish black on tap with fluffy cream head. Aroma of roasted malt and dark chocolate. Tate follows, roasty with a hint of sweetness. Good stuff, thin but substantial.

Draft. Black with a dark tan head. Aroma and taste is mostly oat and cocoa. Medium mouthfeel and carb. This is an entirely drinkable and competent oatmeal stout.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nitro at the fed. Pours dark hazelnut with a medium sized creamy tan head. Nose is light cocoa, dust, light metal, oatmeal. Flavor is similar. Not a lot of flavor, creamy finish. Fine session stout I suppose but nothing Id want to drink too much of.

3.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Founders Oatmeal Stout is a classic stout but not unique. Very light chocolate aroma coming from a beautiful pour with a thick tan head that sticks to the glass. Taste is light chocolate with a dry finish. Oatmeal Stout is an enjoyable session stout but not particularly outstanding.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Draft at the gingerman. Pour has a black color and a thick one finger head that retained very well. Aroma has oats, dark roasted malt, and light chocolate. Mouth feel is medium with fantastic coating and average carbonation. Flavor has plenty of rich dark roasted malt and loads of delecious oats. Creamy and full flavored with a touch of lactose.
