On nitro @ P.O.P.E. Aroma of iron and nitro roast. Pours black with a white head. Taste is vhocolatey and very tame like an Irish stout. Forgettable but solid.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nitro pour with thick tan head. Sweet roasty malts with oats in the nose. Velvet smooth with creamy, oat front but think in over all body and minimal bite. Very drinkable but lacking something for my tastes.

Had it on Nitro. Not much aroma. About an inch and a half of head. Smooth from nitro, oats in the middle and a smooth finish. Clean palate finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light aroma, poured off tap (on Nitro). Solid black, caramel foam that persists. Substantial lacing. Classic oatmeal stout start, thin middle, nice finish.

On Nitro. Very mild and sweet stout. Too muted for my taste but very smooth. A very sippable stout.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2013-04-27. Black body, large creamy tan head and lace. Dry modest roast aroma. Flavour is similar, lightly dry toasty roast, interesting middle that I canít quite describe.. Sweeter malt notes, modest bitterness. Smooth average bodied palate has very soft carbonation from the nitro. Enjoyable but just okay. I actually think it might be better not on nitrogen? Who knows. On tap at Reservoir, Waterbury.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nitro pour served in a Founders pint glass at Local Option. Pours a jet black color, opaque, with a cascading brown head. Looks great. Big, rich, roasty, and toasty malts. Earthy hops come through. Not much sweetness but some oats present. Full-bodied, especially for the style, with moderate carbonation and a bold, smooth mouthfeel. Excellent oatmeal stout.

3.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
On nitro at blue monk. Pours almost a tri tone. Dark at the bottom, lightens up, and ends up a very light brown thick head. Shiny and creamy head. Smells a bit chocolatey, a little bitter. Taste is mildly bitter, lots of oat and roasted flavors. Pretty abrubt finish. Nice and thick also.
