2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Triangle Wine Co. Pours black with a light tan colored head. Aroma is sweet, bready and slightly malty. Tastes like slight chocolate and oatmeal, kind of watery too though. Body was much thinner than I like. Slightly creamy but not really enough to make up for how thin and watery it tasted. This is the first beer from Founders that I have come away from highly unimpressed.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Insanely drinkable and pretty to look at. Not crazy sweet like many oatmeal stouts. Has more substance and a better palate than one would expect from such a sessionable beer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Conrads. An almost opaque brown with a very creamy and well sustaining head with excellent lacing. Aroma has a light sweetness with oats, light roast and a little cocoa. Taste follows the nose with light roastiness and oats with a cocoa dusted nuttiness and very mild roasted bitterness. Finished mostly dry. Mouthfeel semi creamy with a medium body and soft nitro carbonation. Solid and sessionable with simple but satisfying flavor.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
One of the better oatmeal stouts I've had. The perfect amount of everything. Founders hits the mark yet again.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at Pinocchio’s. Dark pour with frothy head and pretty good lacing. Malt ball aroma. Lots of roasted coffee flavors with baking chocolate. Little sweetness. Creamy and coating on the tongue. Chewy oatmeal finish. Maybe the best nitro pour beer I’ve had and one of if not the best oatmeal stouts.

Opaque black color with a creamy, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, oatmeal, earthy hops, and some chocolate. Taste of roast, cocoa, oatmeal, and a sweeter, creamy finish.
