A Founders take on a classic style, brewed with a generous amount of flaked oats, chocolate malt, roasted barley and a healthy helping of Nugget hops, Founders Oatmeal Stout is nitrogen-infused to give it an extra smooth and creamy mouthfeel. An attractive cascade effect gives this beer its forthright visual appeal—and the body and clean flavor delivers on that initial promise.

Usually not a huge stout drinker, but this one is extremely good. Love the coffee notes and bitterness of this beer. Smooth with nice mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Man, this is tasty stuff! Served with a fine, foamy, creamy, light brown head that lasts a while and lots of lace. Color is an opaque brown black. Aroma is roast, toast, cocoa, malt. Taste is like nose and has a great bitter/sweet balance off set with a little carbonic tang that works perfectly. Body is great and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor and fairly long. Session beer for slower drinking.

Had on tap at their place in Grand Rapids. This is a great stout. Lots of chocolate and roasted malts. Very drinkable.

Huge creamy tan head that lasted forever. Full bodies and almost smokey flavor. Absolutely delicious. Very low alc..only complaint.

Beer #200. Aroma is robust, roasted malt, chocolate, oat. Appearance is dark brown, light tan head. Taste is great, lots of nutty flavor, roast, I’m blown away for a low abv. Mouthfeel is perfect, creamy, soft carbonation. Overall, I should never doubt Founders. This is amazing.

Very smooth and great on nitro. Very drinkable but with good flavor, somewhat sweet. Excellent dark color with a frothy head. One of many favorites to enjoy at Founders.

Nitro draft poured into a standard pint glass at Matchbox Merrifield. Pours black with two fingers of light tan head. Aromas of caramel, coffee, chocolate, oats. Tasting notes of dark chocolate, coffee, oats, roast. Full body with a great smooth and creamy mouthfeel, semi-dry finish.

An amazing, light stout. All the typical founders dark beer flavors without the abv or weight. That being said, still has a nice, full body.

Available on tap at the Founders Brewery, great beer throughtout. Pours a nice dark brown with no carbonation. Taste of grain immediately overwhelm your senses with each drink. Great smooth flow with an absoulte apperication for more when you are finished. Different from the Imperial because there is no hoppiness taste with this model. Great Job!
