| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 2, 2010 Pours hazy orange with white head, aroma is grassy and floral hops. Taste up front is grassy and a bit of pine hops, with some biscuity sweetness that end with a slight hop bitterness. A good drinkable APA! jhumphries69 (756), Tyrone, Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 29, 2010 12oz bottle. Pours orange with gold and tan highlights, a faint haziness (mostly brilliant though), and a thin white head that leaves beaten-egg-white-like lace on the glass. Aroma is full of bitter citrus, with notes of toasted bread and impressions of over-cooked fruitcake. Flavor starts bready and dry with touches of honey and bitter hops. Strong yet sublime bitter hop flavor - lightly vegetal, grapefruity - through to the finish. Finish is dry and bitter with hints of malt sweetness and light biscuity malts. Mouthfeel is briskly carbonated with medium body. Overall, a very dry pale ale - tasty and drinkable, but a little too dry for me - a hint more sweetness and/or malt character would have provided a little better balance. I think the hop character is a bit muted, too - it is very hoppy, but something feels restrained, like the hops weren’t picked at the peak of freshness or maybe I just expect more late hop character... 13mikey (194), New Hope, Minnesota, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 12, 2010 12oz bottle. Pours a lightly hazed golden colored body with a finger-width, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is flowery citrus and tropical fruits with a bready malt sweetness. A light pine and pepper too. Flavor is the same. Herbal citrus and flowers up front with a bit of a tropical fruitiness. Slightly bready malts balance nicely. Finishes with a bit of a peppered pine, moderate bitterness. Dry with a lengthy aftertaste. Medium body with a soft carbonation. Overall, a solid APA. Straightforward, but well hopped and balanced. Not much to complain about here. jeremytoni (1214), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 12, 2010 From a bottle poured a straw color with a fair amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a lasting finish. BroSpud (639), , Massachusetts, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 10, 2010 12oz bottle. Pours light golden color with slight head that disappears quickly. The hops are very noticable with this one, especially with the after taste. I wasn’t as impressed with this one as I have been with most of the other Founders brews. It’s good but it lacks character.
