So I had this NITRO! Which is to say guiness’d... I was half expecting Jim Gillette to leap out of the foam and go waaaaAAAAAaaaaaaaoooooooo and Michael Angelo Batio to cut my face off with a tasty lick from his 4 necked guitar, but what I got was Founders Ok pale ale and a bunch of nitrogen foam. If only this beer was half as tasty as MAB’s licks.... In all honesty, it reminds me of summer and makes me want to go to a beach but I hate beaches. So... Whatever black magic this beer has going on, it is powerful stuff.... It’s pretty good...

Pours a cloudy coppery yellow. Floral, citrus notes. Crisp mouthfeel. Nice balance of hoppy bitterness and malty sweetness. One of the best pale ales I’ve had in a long time.

Bottle. Clear golden color with short white head. Nice citrus aroma. Light-medium body and carbonation. Good citrus flavors and hoppy bitterness well balanced by malt sweetness. This is a solid, drinkable pale ale.

355 ml bottle. Slightly unclear orange golden body with a big, creamy off-white head. Citric fruity aroma with malt and grass. Flavor is sweet malt, some caramel, citric fruit like apricot and peaches, grassy bitterness. Fine body and sweet, bitter aftertaste. Straight forward, well-made pale ale that probably will be even better served fresh.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow amber with a big, frothy, long lasting, white head. Looks pretty nice actually! Aroma has both caramel and pilsner malts, sweeter citrus fruity hops, slight resin. Very nice, but extremely weak aroma! Taste has a high hop bitterness with some slight sweeter malt notes. Not particularly fruity, but just pretty ordinary, hoppy. Medium high carbonation and a mild to crisp body. It was pretty cheap though, so good value beer!!
