A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. This medium-bodied pale ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. Youíll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

well, I guess it was bound to happen. after eleven other brews from Founders, all of which I really enjoy, I found one I canít stand. nose of lemon grass, orange peel and some pine. appearance is a clear gold with a HUGE, and I mean HUGE white foamy head. flavor is rather dull and muted with some mild caramel malt and the aforementioned citrus and pine hops. way too much carbonation here for me. glad I only picked up the one bottle.

Cloudy orange pour with a rim of white bubbles that I guess are the head. Aroma is nice and hoppy, with a tinge of sweat toffee. Nice hoppy flavor, it grows until it peaks before a slow finish. The Flavor is highlighted by citrus, and the finish has a grassy character. Nice medium bodied ale.

Bit watery and not as much hops or dryness as I like but ok. Grass and lemon notes nice. Bland next to my favorite APAís

Tap at Founders. Yellow gold pour, small dense foamy head. Mildly aromatic hop aroma. Light grapefruit flavor up front. Just enough malt to balance. Medium-thin body.

Thanks Arnie! Hazy dark orange pour with a very thick, off-white head. Nose of lemongrass and roses, with a bit of chocolate. Finishes clean. Good!

Bottle. Opened with a loud "POP". Pours a hazy golden-orange with a massive lasting fizzy off-white head. Man is this ever carbonated! Aroma of sweet malt and floral hops. Somewhat mild flavour, a little sweet but with a nice bitterness. Light to medium bodied. A little thin and overly simple but pleasant enough.

12 oz. bottle. Pours golden yellow with a sizable white head and nice hoppy aroma good blend of cascade (very distinct) and other american hops creating a floral cascadey nose. Light carmel malty flavors, very carbonated and ever so slightly bitter with a crisp finish. Could use more body and a little more varied flavor, but overall I was surprised by this pale ale.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2009 Pour is a burnt orange and gold with a white bubbled head, the head dropped a bit after a few minutes, some mild effervescence, pour is clear but I see fine particles floating around, left some lacing on the glass, aromas of light fruit, malt sweetness and floral hops, lemon and orange citrus fragrances, flavors of bread, light toasted malt and fruit with citrus hops, some sweetness on the palate, finish is dry with some lingering bitterness, nice Pale Ale.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2012 1/24/12: dark fruit aroma. Doesnt have the foaming issue like last time nor does it have the floaties. Still lightly hopped. But has some flavor and good session qualities. 9/11/06:Sweet citrus aroma. Not much of a hop profile evident in the nose. Huge head. The contents were under quite a bit of pressure when I opened it. The first third of the bottle filled up my 16 oz. tumbler with nothing but foam. Very much alive. Head lasts and lasts and lasts. Hazy amber with a lot of floaties. Flavor is pleasant; not unlike DFH 60 minute IPA. Only 32 IBUs in this one; light for an APA. This brew is perfumy, citrusy and somewhat floral. Not my favorite APA, but pretty good nonetheless. 7, 4, 7, 4, 14
