A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. This medium-bodied pale ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. You’ll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

Pours an amber color with thick off-white head. Aroma is of hops, citrus, pine, caramel, and floral hops. Favor is strong of the floral hops that give way to the citrus. Not quite as bitter as I was expecting from the nose. A little dissapointed in this one.

Nose of pine, spruce, citrus, resin, and flowers. Pours a sparkling golden straw. The enormity of the tight, white frothy head goes beyond mere words, and is fully lasting with great lacing. The balanced flavor is toasty and bready. Moderate acidity in the middle leads to a spicy bitterness at the finish. The crisp light palate is soft and dry.

Poured a light copper or dark golden depending on how you might look at it. Lots of floaters. Big fluffy head with some lasting power. Didn’t notice any lacing. Very resin like aroma, maybe a little pine. I was expecting a bit more flavor from the aroma but it wasn’t there. Seems very thin with little mouthfeel. Seemed a bit tart and a real lack of pale ale flavor.

Bottle from Zathrus13.Thanks Jeff Very cloudy murky brew. Nose is piney and resiny. This was a bitter brew with lots of the piney hops flavor on the tongue.

Robe blonde aux reflets oranges voilée surmontée d’une mousse blanche en dentelle qui persiste. Arômes d’agrumes et de mangue. Saveurs puissantes de mangue, d’agrumes et de malt caramel.

Pour deep hazy orangey amber with a head that makes me a little nervous...explosive when poured...took almost 5 minutes to pour one bottle...smell is grapefruit with subtle piney overtones...just kidding...not subtle...very citric...taste is sweet and malty up front, with lots of bittering grapefruit flavor throughout...not bad...slightly cloying finish...

From a 12oz. twist cap stubby brown bottle with a blurb about the APA on the neck label, no freshness date. Made a good appearance, poured a chill hazy amber golden with a fluffy, clingy white head that settled into a thin, skim-like foamy lacing that left sticky rings, good carbonation. Had a simple piney and citric zesty nose with a buried buttery caramel maltiness. A crisp, hop textured and a light creamy smooth mouth feel, good drinkability. Big dry hop taste, a soft pineyness, citric zesty and leafy, mild, rolling on the tongue bitterness, a buttery caramel maltiness underneath and a leafy and hayish dry finish, very tasty. A nice dry hopped APA from Fouinders, very satisfying, tasty and quite quaffable.

$10 a six-pack. I was very excited to try this because I’ve pretty much loved everything by founders. It turns out the kiss was not so sweet. First of all, this is the biggest pain in the ass beer to pour. Using a pint glass, on first pour you get about 1/3 beer 2/3 foam no matter how slow you pour. foam lingers forever. takes about 10 minutes to pour a full bottle. Aroma is strange. Grassy hops and dirt...Cascade hops for sure. A slight toffee aroma too. Light copper color. I can’t quite put my finger on the flavor. It’s way more sweet and caramelly than hoppy. Though there are a fair amount of hops. It has a similar flavor as Centenniel which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Man...Jeff Goldblum sucks. Back to topic...this beer seems unbalanced and, for lack of a better term, "off." It gets you buzzed without you knowing. It gets a little worse the more you drink. super bottle conditoned.

Pours light copper with white head - gives some nice lacing as well. Aroma is a mix of floral and citrus hops, not overpowering, but stong presence. Medium bodied and mild carbonation. Flavor is mainly floral hops with a nice grainy malt feel for balance. Finish has the hops with a bit of wood taste. Nice pale ale - very easy to drink. Will have to get more of this.

Big thanks to Ohio Dad for this one. I’ve often said that God/Jesus himself is the brewer at Founder’s, and this beer backs me up yet again. Now, I’m talking about the cool God/Jesus from South Park, not the guys who send people to hell for being gay or banging their wife up the poop chute or using birth control. At any rate, the beer ejaculates out of its glass urethra with a fizzy, turbid coppery color and a 2-finger white head. It avails itself of its aroma components, including a massive load of hops, the resiny, piney hop variety, with a solid malt base and a huge tropical fruit aroma, including pineapple, canteloupe, honeydew, and mangoes. The palate is lively, on the medium side, and complex, providing flavors of huge piney, resiny hops, big citrus (pineapple, honeydew, mangoes), and solid malt. A tad more malt would have kicked the palate to a 5. As expected, there is a sizable layer of yeasty hops on the bottom of the glass, which I chose to quaff, and it was delicious. When I die and go to Heaven, I want an endless supply of beer from the Founder’s catalog, and to be married to Evangeline Lilly. If this is a lawn mower beer, I’d be passed out before I even got to the back yard!
