2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 yngwie (8717) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 24, 2011
Bottle. A super-big off-white head sits on top of an unclear, golden body and floaties. Orangey, grassy nose with some maltyness in the back. Rather weak. The flavor has a nice bitterness, with some yeasty hints. Orangey, with pale malts. Dry on the palate. Not very good, I’ll try another bottle soon. 110524
3.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 dwm1034 (254) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 22, 2011
12 oz bottle found in ’fridge from MartyOutLoud’s Saturday poetry workshop....thanks anonymous donor (3 bottles worth!!)...pours orange / hazy sort of like an APA...duh. As noted elsewhere, the nose is weak...but the taste nicely hoppy. Not one of those OMG APA’s which are pucker bitter...but nicely hopped...wonder how they do that without a stronger nose...oh well....a question for the ages...I will do another for sure!
3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 oobawa (549) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 17, 2011
One of the most beautiful Pale Ales I’ve ever poured into a pint glass, for sure. Breaks the mold for Pale Ale sexiness. Too bad the nose falls flat, smelling like no-frills beer. But the huge Cascadian flavor smooshed into this bottle makes for a very piney, citric, clingy APA. The malts maintain a mild balance, however, making this beer very drinkable, if a little boring. 3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 kjc51478 (277) - Cologne, GERMANY - MAY 16, 2011
12 oz Bottle. Appearance is light orange and slightly hazy with light carbonation. Aroma is orange/citrus and a distinctive floral character. Taste is citrus moving into a mild breadiness; lemon hop bitterness is prevalent throughout. Palate is remarkably dry giving it a rather bitter finish. Just a wonderful APA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Niko100 (1084) - New York, USA - MAY 7, 2011
Hazy amber/gold color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of floral hops, malt, & citrus; Flavor of slight sweet malt, citrus hops, and caramel; Finish is slightly bitter; Nicely balanced; Overall, a little surprised with this one - not bad - but not that exciting either.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Dickinsonbeer (5077) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAY 1, 2011

Aroma is light nutty toastiness, clean yeast prfile lets mostly fresh citrus hops come through, fresh good cascade- light lemon zest and some hints of fresh cut grass. Flavor is toast, cracker, light breadiness, then mostly grassy and lemony fresh hops, crisp clean easy drinking- straight forward APA- nice when real fresh.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 kbutler1 (1078) - Minnesota, USA - APR 27, 2011
Bottle. Poured into a NB tulip glass a clear honey, amber color with a 1 1/2 finger off white head. Subtle aroma of orange and grapefruit, not overly in your face but there. Semi sweet start with a nice transition to a light/medium level of bitterness. Ends rather crisply with some lingering bitterness. Nice lace. Medium mouthfeel. A tish more carbonated than I would prefer and ever so slighlty takes away from the flavors. No real trace of alcohol. Overall, I nicely balanced beer and easily drinkable.
