12oz bottle at the American styles tasting. Clear gold with a small but lasting white head. Lots of planty hop aroma with some grapefruit oil and lots of grass. Grassy hop flavors. Quite phenolic and spicy with a weird spice through the finish and a light malt backbone. Medium light body with lots of hop tannins. Just to much grassy hop-tannin action going on. I’m of the opinion that Sierra already perfected the cascade pale ale, so you’d might as well try attacking the problem from another angle...

Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Hazy darkish golden with a small, firm, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has peach, apricot, caramel, resiny hops. Nice. Medium carbonation, fine creamy and lightly dry mouthfeel. Aroma is initially a tad sweet, some crisp malts, a hint of caramel. Good piney, apricot hoppiness. Long, lingering, dry finish. Nice and instantly drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a golden honey color. Small white head. Good lacing. Mild hoppy aroma. Mild grassy flavor. Nicely balance bitterness. Very crisp and clean finish. This beer doesn’t really jump out at you, but it has such a nice finish. Not my favorite style, but Founders does it well.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 teorn88 (567) - Rimini, ITALY - SEP 25, 2010
12oz bottle. Hazy pale gold color, thin whitish head. Aroma is nice and fairly hoppy and citrusy with some hop resin and floral notes. Taste is crisp and clean with a favorable fruity balance between the bready sweet malts and the dulled citrus of lemon flavors. Medium bodied with good carb. Nice one.
