4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 PatBateman81 (123) - Caserta, ITALY - SEP 21, 2010
Bottle33 cl. bought @ bir&fud bottega. Pours a delightful golden pale yellow, with a lot of foam that create big bubbles and faded very fast. Fantastic aroma: fresh hops with hint of ananas, flowers, citrus, honey and earthy notes. A so great dry hopping!!! Taste is gentle, fizzy and simple, but so balanced among sweet and bitter with malt. A little salty in a generous hoppy and long-lasting finish, That’s a masterpiece.

-Source : St. Louis area grocery
-Appearance : very clear golden in color looks almost like cheap beer. The head on this pour is top notch.
-Aroma : smells of very light hops, I was expecting great hop aroma because of the dry hopping.
-Flavor : Pretty good pale but defiantly not the best.
-Overall : I was expecting a lot more from this pale by Founders.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 NosirIwont (1537) - Aalborg Vestby, DENMARK - SEP 14, 2010
Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a big, frothy white head. Decent lacing. Sweet and slightly tart, fruity and citrus aroma with dusty notes in the background. Dry, sweetish flavour with notes of yeast lurking in the shadows. Metallic notes as it warms. Finish is a lingering bitterness. Occasional notes of fresh plums. Too much carbonation Overall I think this resembles a witbier more than a pale ale in many ways. Not bad as such, but not what I expected – plus, I’m not that into witbiers. 15.09.10.
