Pours a hazy golden yellow with frothy white head. Aroma is bready caramel, with odd notes of soy sauce with the salty undertones and spruce notes. I know it’s odd but I swear it’s there. Body is creamy with high carbonation.

Pours a hazy light gold with small head. light, crisp tase with the subdued bitter after-taste consistent with a dry hopped beer.

Bottle. Golden straw yellow with medium white head. Lots of toasted grain action and earthy floral hops in aroma. Taste is sweet grain going med light bitter finish. No outstanding characteristics but well balanced and simple. Great on a hot summer’s day

Another good beer from Founders. With all of the pale ales out on the market, its just a little tough to stand up to some of the others.

Thanks to blazer06 for picking this up in GA. For an APA, this is awesome! Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is caramel, malt, grass, and lots of citrus hops. Flavor is similar with its grassy citrus hops all over the place into the clean finish. A great summer session beer. Founders, when are you coming to Florida???
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mixmasterob (637) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - MAY 27, 2010
My bottle may have been aged a bit because I didn’t get much if any hops in the nose. It poured pale golden with no head which left little lace on the glass. Moderately hoppy and drinks easy. A nice session from Founders but not their best effort.

On tap at Rattle n Hum
Aroma straight hop presence, lighter nose that was somewhat disappointing.
Appearance chill haze? , golden with mid light top , bit rocky and uneven.3-
Flavor and Palate :more life in body , good blend between malt and hops. Clear , refreshing ending (hop oriented). Expected more depth from Founders.

Draft at The Haze. Hazy orange-tan color with a big, soapy, and steady head. Crisp and refreshing, this is certainly a superb APA. Mild soapy hop tones with some seawater crispness. Medium bodied. No syrup or awkward tones. Clean, but full of flavor. World Class session beer.
