Tsekouratos (187) - Nea Filadelfeia, Athens, GREECE - JUN 1, 2014
355 ml bottle from The Local Pub, Athens Greece. Orange copper color, hazy, with a nice white head. Aromas of pine, grass, hops. Taste pretty much the same, with an initial maltiness with caramel more prominent, following by hoppy, grass and piney notes from the Cascade hops. Bittersweet aftertaste, long and kind of dry. Medium bodied with low carbonation.

Pours a pale clear golden color with white head. Citrus and pine on the nose but fades quickly; follows onto the palate. Finish dries up quick.

Transfer from BA review on 4-2-12 - Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours a clear golden color with a one finger white head. The head faded slowly giving way to a light amount of lacing. Smell – The aroma is very light. Light floral and citrus hop notes mix with a very light malt aroma. Taste-A nice malty flavor is the first to be detected. Some hop flavors begin to work their way into the taste toward the middle. These hops are mainly of citrus nature with a lemon flavor being the most prevalent. The citrus hop flavors carry on to the end with a more grapefruit flavor in place of the lemon and some grassy hop flavors coming to fruition. Mouthfeel – Medium bodied with a slightly higher than normal carbonation level. Very good for the style of the beer; its thin enough to drink as a session beer with a nice refreshing level of carbonation that tingles the tongue. Overall – A nice easy drinking beer with a good hop shot. Flavorful and very refreshing.

The Pale Ale on Nitro pours a fairly cloudy sunset orange with a thick foamy ivory head that lasts forever. It’s a thing of beauty. The aroma is fresh bread, floral and pine. The flavor is floral, pine and bread. Overall this is a nice beer. I love the nitro with this brew.
