COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. This medium-bodied pale ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. You’ll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

2008 Bottle - Thanks tjthresh - Pours an opaque dk golden with a massive offwhite head...aroma is distinctly grapefruit, hop resin...flavour is quite dry and while bitter in the middle, finishes smooth and a bit malty...not as deep as other pales, but a nice, light welcome change...

12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Hazy golden orange with lasting ring. Orangy sweet aroma. Doesn’t seem particularly fresh. Mildy sweet biscuity nutty orange fruitiness with medium bitter dry finish. Lasting fizzy throat and tongue bitterness. Medium body and medium carbo. Decent enough.

Bottle. Bottom Lounge Chicago. I’m not usually a big fan of pale ales, but I’m coming around to them. this is defiantly a good one. not too over the top with the hops.

Super huge carbonated pour. Not much of an aroma....mild sweetness maybe. Slightly hazer copper pour. Very subtle flavors of grass and bitterness....and just maybe a touch of nuttyness. Finishes clean. You know this is way better than the last time I had this I mean worlds better.

THOUGHTS: Not one of my favorite styles, but this one is a little different from the others and I’m not sure how I feel about it. It was rather orangey. Pretty nice, but not great. This was my first new beer to try after drinking just about nothing but Victory Hop Devil during the Phillies run to the World Series. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a medium brownish orang with great carbonation and a large, off-white head that slowly diminished and left excellent lacing. The aroma was mostly moderate grassy and orangey hops, with some light earthy yeast, slight funk and orange rind. The flavor started out a little sweet and more bitter and acidic, while it finished bitter and acidic with an average to long duration. There was orange and yeast mostly, but they were a little watery. The light to medium body was dry with very fizzy carbonation and a moderate astringent finish that made me want to keep sipping.

Foamed a bit, huge towering out of the glass head, i was very proud in a way... Pours a hazy amber... Aroma of mildly fruity hops... Taste is a bit dry with some mild malts and some interesting but subdued hops... Medium bodied... Decent pale ale, not nearly as good as others...

Not a fan of Pale Ales, but this is one of the better examples of the style. Nice floral aroma, with lots of copper and citrus zest. Flavor is similar to an Alpha King-lite. Lots of hops and a wheat backbone. Somewhat weak, but with a metallic finish.

Bottle on 11/28/2008 in the Great Butters Tasting of 2008. Somewhat hazy golden body with particulates floating around and a small creamy. Sweet citrus, and resiny hop aroma with light caramel. Sweet caramel, light citrus anf resiny hops, a bit of honey with a good amount of bitter flowing into the finish. Medium body with moderate carbonation.
