COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. This medium-bodied pale ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. You’ll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

Bouteille. De couleur orangée claire. Mince col qui se termine bien tôt dans la dégustation. Arôme de pamplemousse et de pin. Goût légèrement malté suivi d’une finale houblonnée et sèche.

In short: Dried fruits in a bottle. A bit sugary and not very hoppy. Just ok.
How: Bottle 330ml. Consumed probably fresh a few weeks after purchase
The look: Cloudy glowing orange topped by a very small white head
In long: Nose is very much dried fruits, mainly dried oranges. This really is like smelling a bag of dried orange cubes. Taste has rather soft. Plenty of soft pale bready malts (generic industrial white bread) with a bit of white sugar. A little too much crystal malts for my taste in that type of beer. Then comes the fruity flavors of marmalade, dried oranges, banana peels, some flower petals. Bitterness level is rather low and leaves and after taste of dried fruits. Easy to drink (the least I expect from an APA) but it is not particularly refreshing and just not that interesting g. Not something I want to drink again so I’m giving it a 0.1 below my “worth drinking again” score. A disappointing beer from a brewery I usually like. I suspect I got an old bottle from the store so I should try it again. Modern society could prevent a lot of unnecessary suffering if they forced brewery to put bottling dates on their beer and gave only liquid soap to prison inmates.

Clear and dusty light orange colour with a small white head. Nice aroma with lots of orange, caramel. Great hoppy flavour very nicely balanced, pine and caramel.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin white head that sinks to a thin ring. The aroma is floral hops with a touch of citrus. Taste is mild floral hops, caramel and malt flavors. The finish is citrus hops with a piney character. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, smooth with just the right amount of carbination. Very easy to drink, straightforward and enjoyable.

A pale blonde ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, faint grainy malt with light floral hops. In mouth, a smooth biscuitty malt with herbal British hops, mineral notes, not bad. On tap at Sunset Grill, Sept. 11 2011.

Bottle shared with Evil stepdad, watching Toni Martin destroy the competition. Orange look with a white hue. Hop citrus aroma, flowers and mild caramel malt. Medium bitter light sweet flavor - refreshing!

Pours hazy amberish gold with 1 finger of head that fades to skin, big bubbles. Aroma is bitter floral grapefruit with hints of toasty caramel. Taste is slightly nutty, sweet caramel overtones, citrusy and piney accents as well. Body is light-medium, below average carbonation, light mouthfeel, dry citric finish. Overall, a decent brew but waaay subpar for Founders. Kinda like a Sierra Nevada with just a little more cojones.

Pours a clear pale light yellow with slight head that leaves little lacing. Nose is dry hops like citra and simcoe. Nice first flavor with crisp malt flavor and mild bitter finish. Drinkable.
