COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. This medium-bodied pale ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. You’ll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

bottle from Vinoble-favrskov clear yellow, smooth almost yellow head. extremely nice aroma. hoppy in nature, flowers, citrus fruits, dry, very faint note of orange or perhaps even exotic fruits. great balance. flavor is bitter, pine, grapefruit, citrus, towards the end malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness well combined, boy this is good. beneath the bitter piny grapefruity dryness there is a delicate base of orange and exotic fruts, which again matches well with the malts. Even though very flavorfull the beer appears mild and wth no edges. very quenching. One of the best around 5%ish alc. beers i’ve ever tasted.

Pours a golden yellow with a white foamy head. Bright and Citrusy aroma. Taste is of a slight bit of malt offset by citrus and floral flavors. Subtle. Crisp dry finish very pleasant yet not extraordinary.

Pours a yellow-golden color with one finger of white head. Smell is earthy, grassy, floral; a bit of light citrus hops and sweet malts. Taste, unfortunately, can’t quite back this up– it’s rather weak and simple, tasting mostly like grass and black pepper with few other flavors showing through. Thin mouthfeel, very dry finish.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2013 Bottled. Pours clear golden with a huge, white head. Lively carbonaton. Nice hoppy nose with citrus. Fair lacings. Flavour with light malt and citrus notes. Light bodied. Watery texture. Ends up more dry and bitter. A crisp and fine PA. ★★★

I love Founders, but this isn’t good. Murky yellow color with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma was corn and cardboard. Flavor was citrusy with moderate level of hoppiness but with an off grainy corn chip like aftertaste. Amazing how I can love most of the beers so much yet hate something as generic as a pale ale.
