Nice pale ale. A little more bitter than I expected, but enjoyable 100%. Not the best pale ale, but decent

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden pour, that has a haze, with a nice head and lacing. Light bodied with good carbonation. Mild nose of pine resin. Taste is laid back and not complex. Slight hop flavor and bitterness that is well balanced. Crisp finish that is a laid back form of slight bitterness against a slight grapefruit hop flavor. A good beer to transition from the megas into the crafts that doesn’t launch a full assault upon your taste buds.

Bottle. Hazed orange pour with a white head. Aromas of pepper, citrus, grapefruit, papaya, resin, dank. Flavors are of grainy, slightly toasted malt, citrus, grapefruit and papaya. Doesn’t taste very fresh, but freshness date is smeared. Lower bodied with fuller carbonation. Citrusy and thin overall.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nose is delicate, floral, herbs, summer fruits from the yeast. Taste is bitter leading to pine and then a sweeter soft summer fruits and citrus finish. The mouthfeel is a little thin.
This is a very nice pale ale that stands out from the crowd of supercharged American IPAs that are simply too common at the moment. A very nice change.
