3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 fiulijn (10421) - Como, ITALY - DEC 10, 2009
Bottle at Monk’s Café, Stockholm, Wallingatan; 35 IBU, 5.4% ABV Golden color. The aroma is initially grassy; it’s also a bit creamy and dusty, meaty; ah, there is some malt too. Medium-light body, with dry toffee flavor and strong bitterness; the hop brings only a very light fruity touch, and there is a rare rose flower aftertaste. I can’t see much of the promised Cascade, but it’s still a god thirst-quenching beer.
