A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. This medium-bodied pale ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. You’ll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

This is a quality Pale Ale, in my opinion. The ideal pale ale to start a session with. Gave it 6/10 for aroma, only because there isn’t a lot of aroma... which isn’t to say it’s unpleasant. ’Clean’ is an apt description. Appears cloudy. Slightly bitter but quite pleasant aftertaste. One of the ’sweetest’ pales I’ve had. The sweetness is definitely one of this beer’s most distinguishing features. Will definitely drink again and would recommend to others, especially those new to the craft beer scene.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained off white head, with extensive lacing over a slightly hazy, with occasional floaters, light amber (SRM8) body.....nose is light toasted malts, with toast, biscuit notes, light pine, floral honey tones from the hops, no esters.....taste is light toasted malts, hints of cereal, with light bread notes, light floral honey sweetness, light citrus, stronger pine notes from the hops, finishing with a light lingering bitter finish, no esters......mouth feel, medium body, no astringency, alcohol hidden, moderate clean acid finish. This is a typical APA. It is well balanced, with the hops in slight ascendency over the malts, and is clean and refreshing. BJCP 8/2/16/5/7

Golden color with some yeast flakes suspended in, white head. Aromas of bready malts and some yeasty spiciness, tastes of malts caramel, light citrus. Good amount of hops, not too bitter finish.

minimal head, white foam, bread, cereal, nuts, citrus aroma. medium sweetness, medium bitterness. medium body, creamy, slick feel, soft carbonation, bitter abrupt finish. I’ve always been a fan of Founders artwork! This was an average pale ale (not a huge fan of pale ales!).

This beautiful pale ale appears honey-like in color with a creamy off-white head. A fine balance of moderately caramelized malts and slightly resinous, earthy, sticky, candy-like citrus hops. It’s sweet and hoppy, but soft and teasingly light, more like a modest IPA than a pale ale. Carbonation rises somewhat slowly through the body, confirming that I’m not crazy in thinking that there’s a noticeable amount of residual sugars. It’s almost buttery in mouthfeel, which is the first thing I noticed about the beer once it was in my mouth. Then, right before my taste buds, it seemed like an initially disparate amalgamation of ingredients all converged into a single entity. Hop oils, fresh grains, and caramel all come together to form a thick, bittersweet experience. It’s just thick enough to keep the beer from being empty in mouth feel and from being too thin on the palate, but thin enough to make it sessionable enough to drink like a pale ale. The result of the dry-hopping really comes out in the finish, which might have otherwise been a pretty empty experience.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Probably one of my favorite pale ales.
