once the carbo settles a bit, this is a nice, if a bit thin, apa... hogan873 (191), Joliet, Illinois, USA Sep 4, 2008 Orange amber body with a thick off white head. Aroma is pine and citrus with an underlying malty sweetness. The mouthfeel is smoother and creamier than I would have expected. There is some hoppy dryness up front, however. The flavor is extremely well balanced. Grapefruit and pine leads to some caramel sweetness. Fairly dry finish with little aftertaste. A nice pale ale. jmm635 (64), Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 1, 2008 Poured golden in color with a small white head. Very floral on the nose. Taste is a little hoppy, but kind of bland. Typical Pale Ale, which in my opinion is not very good. kmeves (988), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA Aug 26, 2008 Pours a hazed golden with a small filmy off white head. Aroma is medium sweet with orange, light citrus biscuit malt. Flavor is orange, grapefruit and light caramel. Light astringency. Light to medium body, crisp texture. everettvh (24), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Aug 26, 2008 Bottle. Clouded pumpkin orange with an off white head. Pine aroma, hops. Citrus and pine taste. Clean, bitter finish. A good, balanced IPA for those who aren’t looking for a beer that’s overly hoppy.
