A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. This medium-bodied pale ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. You’ll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

A nice golden color body with a white head that had good retention and no lace. Aroma had a nice mix of floral and grass hops. Mild caramel malts and nice toasty notes. Flavor was well balanced, matching the aroma. It finished had a nice hop bite. Nice and smooth. Would make a great session beer.

On tap at Founders. Great nitro pour. Thick white head. Mouthfeel dulls the bitter bite of hops. Lovely.

Flowers, floaters. Nope not for me this one, awful infact. Flowery stuff. I’ll say flowers again and that should do it.

Bottle from Alko, Helsinki. Pours fairly clear amber with a very little white head. The aroma features a combination of malts and hops; piney and citrusy hoppiness is paired with nutty maltiness and a touch of caramel. Taste is initially light sweet, later light to medium bitter. American style hoppiness is balanced and supported by a solid malt base; pine and resin are strongest flavours but also malty flavours appear. The palate is light to medium bodied, moderate in carbonation. Quality APA – not just a one-dimensional hop bomb, also fairly malty.

Hazy copper with suspended particles. Pine, subtle pepperiness, and sweetness on nose. Decent pale malt with a big bitter bite - taste is sweet with cutting bitterness. Medium finish.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

Cascade hops , and quite a strong sweet malt influence on the nose. A very well balanced pale ale, with a stronger malt influence than many beers of tis style

Pours a nice golden orangish color. Aroma is big piney hops with some floral and fruit. Flavor of a classic pale, mildly sweet malt action followed by great hop flavor bite, smooth throughout and a great finish.

Bottle into a tulip. Bottled 7/10/15 so way past peak freshness but heavily discounted as such. A: Medium orange color with a tight finger of beige foam. Good retention and sheets of lace. S: Fragrant pithy scent with a little pine. T: Bitter pine taste. A little citrus on the finish but that’s all. Hardly any malt detected. M: Medium heft with good crispness and carbonation. Slightly chewy finish. O: Old bottle sure, but I don’t find much to recommend above many other available pale ales. OK but I wouldn’t seek it.
