5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Somewhat new to the craft beer scene. Been drinking and researching for about a year now and this the greatest porter I’ve ever had. Delicious.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
355 ml bottle @ Melkebaren, Sandnes. Reddish dark brown body with a big, creamy beige head. Strong aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and caramel. Flavor has lot of sweet, dark malt, coffee, chocolate and dry fruit. Fine body and a long and bitter aftertaste. A very nice and strong flavored porter.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
355 mL bottle. Smells lovely; all roast and chocolate, with a sweetness that is just right. The flavour borders on a stout, without creating any doubt that this is a porter. Roast, mocha, no metallic tang. The body is full and creamy. Excellent beer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark brown color/ tan head. Rich milk chocolate, medium roast coffee aromas. Medium bodied. Lightly sweet milk chocolate flavors with espresso, mildly astringent burnt malts--good.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle@Delirium Hoppy Loft: pitch-black with a huge mocha head, smells very strongly of bitter chocolate, in the background some chocolate malts & coffee, tastes like mocha ice-cream, chocolate, sweet with slightly roasted, creamy malts, hint of wood in the finish, I am not getting the prickly bitter hops that follow in the finish, wonder how it would have been without them, slightly sticky

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This porter is excellent, smooth, silky, and beautifully aromatic. Besides pictured rocks this is my favorite thing from/in Michigan.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
1. Look – This is a dark black porter with frothy brown head.
2. Sniff – There is a big coffee aroma and chocolate notes as well.
3. Sip – This porter is full of flavor and has a consistent bitterness from start to finish. Its full bodied flavor and long lasting coffee taste definitely help this beer stand out.
4. Another Look – A very long lasting big head. The beer looks very mouthwatering.
5. Evaluate – Overall, this is a tasty porter that is well balanced. I really enjoy this beer. I love the sweet taste and the slightly bitter aftertaste. I would recommend to my family and friends especially around the holidays.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Beautiful pour, solid color with good initial aroma. Very even and almost milky mouthfeel that goes down deliciously smooth. One of my favorite porters and one of the best founders offerings.
