COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours silky black with a creamy tan head. The nose is sweet with strong chocolate and caramel malt presence. No absence of hops gives Foundersí robust porter the full flavor you deserve and expect. Cozy like velvet. Itís a lover, not a fighter.

Bottle - dark brown with a 4 fingers of chocolate brown head. Aroma is chocolate, toast, caramel. Fabulous nose! Leans mildly bitter. Palate is thick like pudding, and very smooth. Iím getting chocolate on the finish with a little spiciness of alcohol. Very nice!

Finally got around to picking some of these up. Bottle pours into a pint glass a rich black, with only the slightest hints of brown when held to the light. Half-inch light tan head. Nose is very chocolatey, with some coffee and dark bread. Taste is...wow. More chocolate and coffee, heavily roasted malts, oatmeal stout smoothness. I literally canít believe how good this is.

Bottle: Literally black, as usual, small stable lacy tanned head; leathery-fruity, not too toasty, nose with some herbal hops underneath; solid bitter-sweet flavour, soft and medium bodied; slightly lingering toasty-leathery finish, accompanied by a light acidity. Fine Porter.....

Basically black with a thick tan head that lingers and leaves some amazing lacing. The aroma is mostly roasted coffee and a bit of caramel and plum. The flavor is also strongly coffee with nice bitter dark chocolate notes, just a little burnt. Very smooth and highly drinkable.

Dark rich and sexy is a good description for this delicious porter. Pours nice and dark with a tan head. Great aroma. Lots or roasted malt flavor with a hint of biterness. Coffee and burnt chocolate. Very good.
