Pours black with little head. Nice malt aroma, nice porter taste and good balance. Not as much else there as I remembered.

Bottle: Literally black, as usual, small stable lacy tanned head; leathery-fruity, not too toasty, nose with some herbal hops underneath; solid bitter-sweet flavour, soft and medium bodied; slightly lingering toasty-leathery finish, accompanied by a light acidity. Fine Porter.....

Basically black with a thick tan head that lingers and leaves some amazing lacing. The aroma is mostly roasted coffee and a bit of caramel and plum. The flavor is also strongly coffee with nice bitter dark chocolate notes, just a little burnt. Very smooth and highly drinkable.

Dark rich and sexy is a good description for this delicious porter. Pours nice and dark with a tan head. Great aroma. Lots or roasted malt flavor with a hint of biterness. Coffee and burnt chocolate. Very good.

12oz bottle thanks to weihenweizen, pours black with a thin tan head, aroma is full of chocolate with a hint of coffee, the flavor has an awesome front end with coffee notes and finishes with dark chocolate, very flavorful all the way through, just a solid beer all the way around.
