Finally I get to try this. Dark, roasty, malty, chocolatey. A delicious porter for sure. Time to crack open the Breakfast Stout now =)

12 Oz bottle pitch black with beige head, chocolate, coffee, roasty, toast, nuts, smoke. Cream of the crop if you enjoy Porters

Porter noir. Arome de torréfication, de biscuit et de pain roti. Assez sucré et ronde en bouche. Bière très riche, près du stout.

35 cl bottle @ home. Pours black with some sediment and a tan head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, liquorice, coffee, vanilla, and chocolate. Flavour is roasted malt, liquorice, and bitter coffee.

On tap at CBC. Black colour with beige lacing. Roasted and hoppy aroma. Same for taste, with some malts and sweetness.

Smells very roasty and malty, slight hop flavor. Taste is very malty, sweetness is balanced out by the roasted malts though. Kind of thin feeling, could maybe be a little thicker.

Standard porter by Founder's with all the requirements of a basic porter. Thin finish, good selection of malts, will satisfy the person looking for malts and not hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled @ CBC 2013. Opaque pitch black color, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, roasted malts, bread, lightly ashes. Medium body and carbonation. Nice porter.

Sweet, malty chocolate taste. Tangy aftertaste bite that quickly goes away. Pours super dark with no head.
