COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark, Rich, and Sexy. Chocolate malts and four varieties of hops make this a very full flavored ale.

Dark black/brown pour, laces the bottle well. A lot of bitter coffee in the smell. A bit too bitter. Flavor is dark chocolate and roasted coffee but a bit sweet as well. A bit of carbonation but not too much. The bitterness overpowers. I guess I am not a big fan of bitter porters.

Roasty aromas, dark coffee, bitter chocolate, some molasses, some minerality. Very dark, basically black, with a lasting ring of off-white head foam. Dry, roasty malts well accompanied by hop bitterness. Medium bodied, very smooth.

29.03.2014. 0,355l Bottle. Stuelands Apothek, Haugesund. Black colour with tan head. Very rich and good beer. Dark malts, Coffe and dry bitter Chocolate. Aftertaste is more of the same. Good coffe notes and strong dark malts. Very rich with good balance between alcohol, body and bitterness. Really Good!!

Simple and to me a "standard" porter taste. Clean, mild carbonation, balanced with a medium body and lingering coffee/cocoa notes. My go to porter.

Bottle - Pours dark rich and creamy with a tan head. Has a deep roasted aroma and a taste to match. Dark coffee and mocha on the taste. Silky smooth mouthfeel with a malty backbone. Rich finish. Excellent!

Got a single from their 6-pack at the LCBO. Pours a real black colour with a good creamy beige head, long retention and some creamy lace. Coffee nose at first, but the dark fruits come out eventually with the mild yeast. The taste is smooth with the coffee/dark fruit combo. Nice roasted malts linger into the aftertaste. Hint of chocolate are faint with a nice bitterness blending with everything. A nice soft porter with lots of character that are well-blended.

Poured into pint glass. Black with a finger of tan head. Smells like dark chocolate and coffee. Tastes like dark chocolate with a slight smokiness and bitter hops, coffee as well. It's oily but filing. It's a pretty balanced Porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
