Pours black as night with a huge fluffy longlived head leaving pretty lace. Aoma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, tar, fruits and fresh grass. Fullbodied mouthfeel. Flavor is fruity, tar, meaty, peaty, perry and very tart; excellent. Fullbodied tar palate. Dry tart longlived and well balanced finish. So enjoyable.

Bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o HogTownHarry. Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with an average size diminishing creamy light-brown head. Nice aroma of roasted malt and coffee along with light leafy hops and chocolate. Flavour, which is even better, of roasted malt, coffee, light hops, some light lactic notes and a good amount of chocolate and a nice dry, roasty bitter finish. Medium to full bodied. A great Porter, well done!

Off tap at Bar louie last night 20 oz pour. deep rich and sexy indeed. Nice roast, carmel, chocolate, big coffee but not too over-whelming, crisp developing awesome finish. quite the treat on tap--dont remember it being this good from bottle.

Bottle from Vinens Verden. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, lots of licorice, chocolate, coffee and hops. Nice dry finish.

Bottle 355ml. Pours almost pitch black with brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter. Full body, oily, average carbonation.

Tumman ruskea, lähes musta porter. Niukka, beige vaahto. Tuoksussa on suklaata, kahvia ja paahtunutta mallasta. Maussa on suklaata, kahvia, paahtuneisuutta ja tummaa, kuivaa hedelmäisyyttä. Keskirunsas ja hieman liukas olut. Portereiden kärkipäässä.

Pours black with a slight nut brown hue in the edges with a nice light brown head. Aroma is full of well-rounded roast, liquorice, almost vanilla, doughy yeast notes, notes of coffee and slight vegetal. Taste has a lot of liquorice and still well-rounded roast. Cocoa, coffee, almonds and bready malts. Still a vegetal notes. Quite a large hop presence as well, bitter in the after taste. Carbonation is high, but it suites the beer well. A really good porter!
