Bottle. Pours a sexy thick black with moderate brown head. Dark chocolate, coffee, roasty chocolate malts dominate the nose. Taste starts sweet and finishes with a light coffee bitterness. Nice medium-heavy mouthfeel. Dark, rich, and sexy indeed.

From bottle. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, light smoke, molasses, and licorice. Rich and roasty and sweet. Dark brown-black with thin tan head. Medium chewy body with medium-high carbonation. Starts with rich sweetness, roasted with light bitterness. Chocolate and molasses, carbonic tang with mild alcohol. Bittersweet chocolate finish, light smoke. Sweet after. A nice porter.

Tap at bar Louie, Great lakes crossing mall. Pours deep black-brown with nice tan head. Aromas of light chocolate, mocha and hazelnuts. Medium to full bodied, hop flavours and bitterness though prevalent are overshadowed by the medium-full body of chocolate, caramel-burnt toffee and roasted malts. Medium carbonation, the finish of this beer showcases the continuation of the rich roasty malt flavours (increasingly, more burnt toffee) with some minor bitterness on the finish. A reflective, rich porter.

12oz bottle in a stem glass. Pours very dark brown with a thick, lingering, tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malts, and some earthy/grass flavors for the hops. Flavor at first of roasted malts, followed by a long chocolate note and some smokiness/hops at the finish. Thick texture. An incredible porter.

Bottle - from sampler pack. Very dark and opaque. Rich, roasty aroma. Really good. Strong malty, roasty and hoppy flavors. An excellent porter.

Lone bottle in a variety 6-pack received as a gift. Unknown age. Poured opaque black-brown into a wide-mouth glass with a 3/8 thick mocha-colored head that dissipated rapidly into dense lacing. Great aroma of roasted pumpernickel. After the huge aroma, surprisingly thin on the tongue. Medium body. After-taste of sharp, slightly acidic carbonation. No sense of alcohol. Label’s claim of "Dark, rich & sexy" was achieved. This would be a great beer to have with a hot pastrami sandwich or anything else on a dark rye bread. Very drinkable by its lonesome, probably even better with food. Very nice.

Oh yeah, this will do. A real nice Porter, nearly perfect, with a sexy lady on the label.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with a small brown head. Aroma is of chocolate, bread dough and pralines. The flavor is sweet and smooth with more chocolate, roasty and earthy flavors, smoke and dirt. Bitter finish. This makes the porters from a lot of other brewers look like clumsy imitations of what the style should be.
