4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A deep black pour with an awesome tan head that retains for a bit. The aroma is magnificent with lots of roasted coffee, chocolate, and toasty barley. The taste follows along well and doesnít disappoint. Smooth, creamy texture loaded with roasted malt flavor and molasses. To top it off , it even finishes with a bit of lactic and chocolate that lingers well and make for a complex amazing beer. Definitely a favorite and will keep getting lots of it!

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This lovely, ebony lady slips seductively into my curvaceous snifter giving generous, pillowy, cappuccino-colored head and an eruption of sinful, aromatic pleasure: notes of dark chocolate, dark-roasted coffee, roasted grains and nuts; maybe a hint of brandy on her lips. Copious lacing forms like sexy lingerie in a playful tease before she welcomes you into her voluptuous bounty. Playful hoppy notes tantalize the palate and her sassy, yet sweet disposition delights to the last drop. This is a guilty pleasure I shall hope to repeat often. Iím pretty sure the girl on the bottle just winked at me. Among the best!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours black like a good porter. Aroma is strong bitter coffee and chocolate. Flavour is slightly smoother than the aroma. Maybe it's just me but I prefer the smooth rich toffee porters to the harsh bitter chocolate porters. Still extremely enjoyable.

12 oz bottle.
Outstanding as all the others say, but with an asterick.
This should be in the "Cholate Porter" category since it so tastes of chocolate. A handome beer, rich, thick and creamy. Well done !!!

Bottle: Pours black with a thin brown head. Aroma is chocolate coffee beans with hints of caramel. The rich, malty flavor is roasty bringing out the chocolate and coffee in the creamy smooth finish. A well balanced and fantastic porter!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Deep brown in color, brown head with large bubbles which dissipates but gathers around the edges and leaves good lacing. Clear roasted and chocolate malt in the nose, espresso and shoe polish. The body is full and rich, but there is a lightness that makes it slide right over the tongue. Flavors of chocolate and roasted malt (sweetness emerges at it warms); finishes with a lasting and puckering dry roasted bitterness. The description on the bottle gets it just right: dark, rich and sexy. It would be easy to confuse it with an imperial stout in a blind taste test. Fantastic.
