Pours silky black with a creamy tan head. The nose is sweet with strong chocolate and caramel malt presence. No absence of hops gives Founders’ robust porter the full flavor you deserve and expect. Cozy like velvet. It’s a lover, not a fighter.

Aromat rewelacyjny. Masa kakao, masa kawy, masa czarnej czekolady. Piwo czarne, nieprzejrzyste. Niewielka piana, świetny lacing. W smaku podobnie jak w aromacie, dużo kawy, dużo paloności. Paloność szczególnie w posmaku daje o sobie znać. Delikatnie zbyt mocno nasycone, ale nadal gładkie i aksamitne. Rewelacyjne piwo. Jakby z tego zrobić baltic porter albo imperial porter - zagięłoby system.

A little bit crisp and bitter when it hits your tongue, but almost immediately mellows out and lets some chocolatey coffee tastes through. However, I have to give it a 1/5 in both the categories of beer name and attractiveness of woman on the bottle.

Bottle at home. Oily black topped by a beige creamy head. Rich roasted malts with an abundance of soft coffee and chocolate, nicely balanced by some tropical fruity hops. Not too bitter or dry, more rounded and soft. Long finish. Low carbonation, good body (especially considering the low abv). Great meeting Founders Brewing with this ale.
