3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma of sweet fruit and citrus. A dark reddish amber pour with a non- lasting tan head and minimal lacing. The taste a nice combination of hop bitterness and citrus freshness with hint of spice in the finish. Medium body and medium crisp carbonation. Overall, a bitter citrusy IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
From growler. Deep cherry red with off white head. Piney spicey aroma. Great rye kick that showcases the spicy hops well. One of my fav styles and this is good. With a bit of carmel and hops on the finish.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours an opaque red-copper color with a thin tan head. Aroma is citrus and malts. Moderate carbonation and body with a great crisp finish. Sweet taste of malts up front followed by a nice bitter grapefruit hop flavor. This is a really well balanced brew. One of the best rye IPAs Iíve had and one of my favorite beers overall.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Nose is full if pepper and citrus hops a light to medium caramel and toast. Pour is fairly clear, reddish in color. White head, laces well. Taste is immediately bitter with a peppery toasty malt. Just short if bread crust. Overall enjoyable but on the edge of harsh.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance: slightly opaque, dark orange with highlights the color of grapefruit pulp; a finger of creamy, thick light beige head that slowly shrinks; scads of frothy lacing like sea foam. Aroma: warm graham crackery malts, with citrus hops pronounced (blood orange, grapefruit), some apricot, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted caraway seed. Taste: sweet warm malts carry through, with notes of caramel, graham cracker, toffee, and light pumpernickel bread; hops are more of a backdrop, with grapefruit most pronounced; also a noticeable marmalade flavor. Finish: becomes slightly dry as it warms, with lingering sweet malts slowly fading in favor of a bit of resinous pine and some rye spice . Notes: A very malty IPA, which I like. The rye didnít overstate itself, but added a nice bit of complexity. Palate was full and creamy, serving as an excellent bed for the big flavors.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured 16oz pour into tulip. Pours a deep orangeish red with a medium tan head that lingers around the glass. Aroma is very malty And grainy with a very slight citrus pine finish. Flavor is very malty, toasted caramel, bread, finished with mild hops. Medium high carbonation, medium mouthfeel. Hops donít shine through due to the rye and malt content.
